Huntley Santa Monica Beach

My husband and I were in LA from NY for a wedding, and we decided to make it a mini-vacation and stay in Santa Monica. I am extremely fussy when it comes to where to stay. After spending hours looking at hotels, reading about them and the area on reddit/tripadvisor/expedia, etc.... I finally took the plunge and booked the Huntley. We were not disappointed. My husband, who rarely travels and doesn't really notice where we're staying, was pleasantly surprised and impressed. From the valet, to check in, to the rooftop lounge, every staff interaction was extremely pleasant, professional. A quality experience. Our room was amazing! We had a king suite on the 7th floor. It was immaculate and well laid out. Lighting was plentiful and easily adjustable. There were enough outlets and usba and usbc plugs for charging on both end tables. Well stocked Nespresso, bar and fridge. The only thing I wish, was that there was a separate fridge for us to use for any leftovers we came home with or waters. Best of all? It was so quiet. We could barely hear anything from the hallway and nothing from rooms next door, up or downstairs. And the area around the hotel was a perfect location for walking to the beach, the pier, promenade and local restaurants. We could get most anywhere on foot in 15-20 min. And Waymo's were plentiful if we had wanted to catch a ride. We hated to leave this paradise. Thank you, Huntley staff, for making our couples retreat so enjoyable.

Wonderful location, close to everything you want in the area and close to LAX without any noise. Service was attentive and polite and the room (505) was clean and well presented. I only used the restaurant once for breakfast, it was reasonably priced for the area, my server Gianna was friendly and polite. I would absolutely stay here again.

My family lives nearby this is a very good location and a very nice hotel, Easy walking to the beach and the shopping area.

Beautiful hotel, with amazing views, amazing suite, great service, valet was great. The best hotel in Santa Monica by far. Will always stay here when I come back.

Our holiday party at The Penthouse at the Huntley Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Everything was beyond our expectations. Working with Mandy made the entire process seamless; her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care ensured every detail was perfect. The food, service, and of course the stunning views were exceptional. It was truly a memorable event, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to bring it to life!
