Huntley Santa Monica Beach

The Location is very good. Cool Lobby Atmosphere. Top Roof Restaurant good food. Rooms are spacious and all have some Ocean views. Room service was quick and tasty. Gum is nşce although very small but in Santa Monica eveey corner you can find huge gyms. I personally loved Fred Fitness which an AI Gym-must try. What was not that good: Walls and doors are very thin, occasional noise especially if your room is close to the housekeepin room. Most of the doors close with a big noise. I do not like ACs at night, therefore the windows open very little for safety which is not enough to have enough fresh air inside.

We visit Santa Monica every 6 weeks or so and always stay at the Huntley. It is our "go to" hotel. The entire staff from the valet, bellmen and front desk staff greet us by name. The location is perfect and within walking distance to the pier, restaurants, bars, promenade, etc. The views from the Penthouse Restaurant are spectacular, the rooms are larger than most hotel rooms and the views from most rooms have great ocean views. We have stayed there numerous times and always have a great experience.

The hotel is ideally located a few minutes from Santa Monica beach. The staff is very attentive and very pleasant. Although I am not usually a fan of hotel restaurants, The Penhouse Restaurant was really excellent. The cuisine and service were really very, very good. The view of the coastline and sunset were top!

The place was very overpriced for what you get. I reserved an ocean view room, but the room did not at all have a view like the photo shown online. Very disappointing and deceptive IMO. Bed sagged horribly. Patio was minuscule. Parking fee is ludicrously expensive. On the plus side- Staff was wonderful including front desk, bell and valet.
