Near the beach
Parking is very expensive at the hotel ($68 a day) so I would park elsewhere. The hotel room is very clean and the bathroom seems to have been newly renovated in a pretty, white palette that makes the tiny space appear bigger. The penthouse restaurant seems pretty popular judging by the number of people going up there. Or maybe no one wanted to brave the rain to go outside. However, there is only one elevator running and it takes 10 minutes to wait for an elevator. The service elevator was also not running. I would have rated this hotel 4 stars because the service is pretty good, but deducted a star for the elevator situation.

Very great location. Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The view was beautiful on the high north facing room I was in. The staff was really kind and accommodating.

Excellent staff and location
The Huntley has a great staff! Everyone that we encountered was terrific. From the valet service to the cleaning staff all were exceptional. It's a great location and we will stay again.

FUN DAY OVERLOOKING BEAUTIFUL SANTA MONICA
We had brunch at the Penthouse...the food was great, the atmosphere was also great and the server and service were excellent...18 of my friends participated and all were equally impressed and had a fantastic time...will go back soon
