Oceana Beach Club Hotel

Excellent customer service by Mike, Eric, Andrew, and Nestor. Nestor even gave us the historical background of the building and the celebrities that once lived there. Very welcoming experience by all.

Had a wonderful staycation Wed-Fri. Although located on Ocean Blvd, it is on a quieter part of the street and city. Across the street is a wonderful tree-lined walking path used by locals. Small boutique hotel, about 70 rooms total. Terrific sunset terrace on the third floor. Bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable. Luxurious bathroom. We had an ocean view room (the actual beach is about a 5-10 minute walk across a bridge above PCH) and although it could be a little loud with pedestrian traffic (we were on the ground floor) i found the property to be mostly quiet and peaceful. Small pool but really nice cabana like loungers and cold water and lemonade served poolside. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ate at the causal dining restaurant for breakfast. Food was good but it was much more expensive than I was expecting (think $40 for french toast). Did not dine at the fancy dinner restaurant but it is part of the Resy network. What we did do is walk to Fig at the Fairmont. For one hour, from 5-6 Tu-Sa, the entire Fig food and drink menu (excluding spirits) is 50% off. Valet parking at Oceana is $80 a night BUT about a block away there is free street parking (just make sure the street isn't ZONED). It was an overall dreamy experience and would love to return someday.

My brother and I had a fabulous weekend stay at Oceana. The food, service, and amenities were all excellent. We especially enjoyed using the provided bikes to ride by the ocean. Andrew and Joshua especially did a great job of making us feel welcomed and giving us a smooth check in / check out process. We are excited to come back!
