Great stay, kudos to Antoine
Antoine was great, very attentive to requests. Would recommend. downsides of this property are the loud in-room HVAC, and some noise leakage between rooms. It’s a little far away from main attractions like restaurants but the actual property is great!

Charming boutique hotel with some flaws
Charming boutique hotel with lovely staff, might appear prickly at first but become like family by the time you leave. Beautifully decorated rooms. Amenities are good. Gym is small but well appointed. Antoine at the desk was very helpful Kennedy at breakfast was attentive and accommodating. Michael in the evening service at the pool restaurant, dont remember the name, was extremely competent and multilingual. La Monique is painfully expensive, the same wine in Rodeo Drive which we liked was 2x the price. Just to give an example. Food was good but did not merit the prices. Service was good in the sense he did his job but he seemed quite fake ... restaurant was very loud, strange as they have carpets and drapes. Beautifully decorated and a really nice place to get dressed up and look smart. If coning to Santa Monica, a wonderful choice.
