Oceana Beach Club Hotel

I came back to the Hilton LXR Oceana Santa Monica thinking, “There’s no way this stay can top the last one.” And then Lenny said, “Hold my lemonade.” Within minutes of arriving, he was already elevating the vibe — but the moment that sealed it was when he took his lunch break to have a picnic with us across the street. I’m not kidding. A full picnic. At this point, I’m convinced he’s not just an employee — he’s the unofficial mayor of Santa Monica, the ambassador of hospitality, and possibly the human embodiment of the Oceana brand. If Oceana were a person, it would be Lenny: warm, funny, professional, kind, and determined to make your stay so good you’ll talk about it for the rest of your life. We were here for a major LA event (rhymes with Memmys), and our friend — a nominee — was treated like royalty. The glam team? Red carpet. The vibe? Immaculate. The attention to detail? NASA‑level. But here’s the thing: great hospitality isn’t one person. It’s a team sport, and this team is stacked. Saye, the VP, was on property and is exactly the kind of leader you want steering the ship — relaxed, guest‑focused, and always thinking about how to “level up.” You can feel his influence everywhere. The valet dream team — Lester, Surafel, David, Orion, Devan, Napoleon — made every arrival and departure feel like a scene from a movie. Friendly, fast, and full of Hilton heart. And the front desk Avengers — Eric, Peter, Josh, and Antoine — are the definition of hospitality superheroes. They remember you. They anticipate you. They make you feel like you’re walking into your own beach house. Four days here and once again, I’m ruined for other hotels. Oceana isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to feel. And Lenny? He’s the heartbeat of the whole operation.

A Truly Special Experience with Amazing Hospitality! This was my first visit to Oceana Santa Monica, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I was fortunate to meet Kevin, the General Manager, and Saye Kokeh, VP of Operations at the Hotel Group. Both were incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. Every staff member I encountered was also genuinely friendly and attentive, making me feel so welcomed throughout my visit. Now I truly understand why Oceana is a five-star hotel! The food was absolutely delicious, and the beautiful atmosphere, perfect California weather, relaxing poolside setting, and stunning ocean views made the experience even more special. I’ve also heard wonderful things about the indoor restaurant, and I’m already looking forward to returning for dinner soon! Everything about this visit was wonderful. Being able to enjoy such a lovely meal at a beautiful hotel with such amazing hospitality truly made my day perfect. We stayed here for our anniversary and it is an amazing location. The rooms are beautiful and beds comfortable. Most things at this hotel are great. Little things bothered me like no usb outlets anywhere in the room. The desk had no power near it to plug in a laptop. She rain shower head was nice but just not powerful enough. Would be nice to have a second head to wash your body since the water pressure wasn’t enough. The front desk staff wasn’t aware of all things on the menu and how they work and when asked didn’t follow up. They were great otherwise. Very friendly and did go out of their way to help in other ways. Late night BYOB we got two drink send up from the restaurant and it was about 100$ and they weren’t anything special. Overall great place great location. I am just picky about some of the little things

A fantastic property in a great location! Joshua at the front desk is a true host
