Beautiful accommodations!

Lovely spot with everything you need! Clean, comfy bed in a spacious room with plenty of spots to plug in electronics. They even have FREE same-day laundry service. The room smelled like roses when I arrived :) My only cons: (1) They will try to charge you $18/night to park in their parking lot even after telling you it's free so just maybe park on the street when you arrive instead, and (2) bathroom sink was clogged (took like 5 mins to drain after just washing my hands) when I arrived, which is gross but I wasn't staying long and mostly used the shower so no biggie. Overall worth the incredibly discounted rate! Front desk staff and manager were top notch, professional and kind. Overall would definitely stay again between backpacking trips. <3

Great location!

Hyatt Santa Rosa is great location right off Hwy 101 in the middle of wine country. We came for a weekend to get away from the South Bay and it was fabulous! The hotel king room was super clean as was the lobby and hallways. There is a very nice warm/heated pool I'll look forward to using next visit as it was a bit too chilly while there. We'll very much look forward to our next visit in a few months. Some reviews complain the property is dated but honestly, we found it just fine and we're heavy Hyatt users so have a lot to compare this hotel to. For the price point, it was right on. Bed was extremely comfy and we enjoyed streaming BritBox on the 65" TV after a busy day of hiking/site seeing. Room size was average and bathroom had super clean subway tile shower with rain head and nice products. Love the area as well ... quite a few restaurants you can walk to from the hotel so after driving around Sonoma all day it's nice to park once and just walk. We'll be back and cannot wait!

The bell carts A L W A Y S have flat tires. Ridiculous!! Seriously? You’re The Hyatt!!! I have complained numerous times about it and still no repairs. Front desk is meh …….! They could use a lil customer service refreshing! The nightly Rate is very high for the quality Rooms need attention. Air conditioning needs serious attention

Wonderful hotel! Very centrally located for those vacationing in wine country. They also had awesome amenities including a fitness center, pool, board games, fire pit, and a pretty little garden area. Would absolutely return and recommend!

Not a well run hotel. I do not recommend. Read my review, and you decide.

Rare one star hotel. Front desk is condescending, unhelpful, and patronizing. When someone returns a borrowed “hotel” umbrella, “That’s not mine” should not be the answer. (I know it’s not yours, when I returned the umbrella to you (the hotel). Maybe I should have said, “I am returning you the umbrella your hotel loaned me two days ago, thank you”, but instead, I said, “Here’s your umbrella”, and I get the “not mine” before I can even say thank you to the end of my return statement. When I show a receipt in error, the answer should not be “I don’t see it on my screen.” It should be “Let’s see what the problem is” (when I am showing the receipt I was sent by the hotel. Otherwise, this hotel does not deserve to be called a Hyatt Regency. It’s wine country, so maybe their clientele expect aloofness? Their data entry not up to par. Mistakes happen. Let’s correct it more pleasantly. Let’s not make our lives unpleasant and force me to write a one star review. “Return of umbrella” made me decide to write a negative review instead of just letting it go. Looks like the person who loaned me the umbrella, got me a winery umbrella, which apparently was the best she could find, which I found to be very helpful - which is good right? The problem front desk reminds me of kids who respond, “I don’t wanna”. This hotel reminds me, and forces me to compare it to Hi-Express or a Hyatt-Place at best. (HI-E or HP usually don’t charge for parking, or my tier makes it complimentary). First thing you notice when you check in is their strategic placement of two tables in front of the front desk. Why block your front desk from people who want to stand in line? Maybe they don’t want to make it look like people are in line. Our room was not ready. (Took almost two afters or near 5pm before check in possible). Now, that happens, but… The hotel advertises fancy, but their outdoor sitting area with a fireplace that is lit looks and feels good, but needs to be better cleaned. (Bird things for example). Their view is not as advertised, but you can foresee it when you see their location on Googlemaps, which I warned my wife about. Wife loves Hyatts, but is losing some of the love, just so you readers know. Santa Rosa is a typical small town grown too big for its own good. Nice enough, but restaurant selections are limited, and food so so. Wine selection seemed to be universally excellent, and if you listen to their sommelier, they do recommend the good stuff according to your tastes. California wines are are par with good European ones for sure. The vibe of the town is OK, friendlier than the hotel. We didn’t drive or rent a car so did mostly Uber, and even took the bus to the “Snoopy” museum and back. I am not a big fan of that strip, but wife is, but we both enjoyed the little excursion. Santa Rosa is not an unsafe city, felt safe in case you were wondering. Uber drivers universally pleasant in Santa Rosa. Bus drivers universally very helpful in Santa Rosa as well. All restaurant establishments were very pleasant. I’ll review the ones that stand out in a separate review. Santa Rosa Airport is small and run fairly well. No problems there. I tried to add pleasantries, but may not have been successful. We will not return.
