The villas, grounds, pool, restaurant, beach and service are all magnificent. But the best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone we met was wonderful: friendly, helpful, fun to talk with, kind. I had a fabulous massage which was quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at but I don't regret spending the money. We arranged for a private local bird guide and he was excellent. The only complaint was the food at the restaurant: it was good but over-priced and mostly too heavy. However, when we made specific requests we were very pleased with the food. If you have a car you can go to other restaurants in the area but walking is less convenient as it is very dark at night and both the dirt road and the beach are not easy to walk on in the dark.

Florblanca has wonderful and spacious Villas set in a beautiful tropical garden. All Villas are secluded and on thier own, so you feel very private. Lush green, palms and other tropical plants, combined with monkeys and other animals in front of the window give a jungle feeling. Our upgrade to the honeymoon suite let us enjoy a terrace in the trees. All staff are not only friendly due to politeness, but really enjoy their jobs and every contact to the guests of the resort. - With only eleven Villas it feels very private and a little like a family home. You never have the feeling it is full, as Florblanca actually is a small park with lots of space for the few guests. Superb restaurant offering very good food and at the same time nice views of the beach and the sea, the gardens and the pool area, which in itself is wonderful.

Full disclosure- we did not actually stay at Flora Blanca. We had a VRBO about a 7 minute walk down the beach. However, we are breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Flora Blanca for a full week, and walked around the grounds, got to know the staff, and loved the place. I can only imagine that the service and offerings were up to par with our experience! We loved the food. I am VERY picky and so this was especially surprising that I loved every single thing I ordered. So fresh! Hats off to the chef, and to the great staff who were very friendly and attentive. We would likely book a room at the hotel next time we return to Santa Teresa, and we definitely will!!!

We were staying in another hotel nearby and came here to have breakfast at the Nectar restaurant in the resort. The food and the service were great! Florblanca itself is absolutely stunning, the grounds are immaculate, the landscape design flows naturally and makes you feel like you are truly in the middle of the jungle. If the rates are within your budget this is a no brainer!

We stayed for 4 nights and were extremely pleased with almost everything. Pros:The villas are beautiful and well layed out, ours had a great ocean view through the trees, Pool area lovely, beach to die for, quiet, and it also most felt like we had it to ourselves. A great place to relax, we didn't take advantage of the many activities as it was our last stop and wanted to chill. Saw animal life, family of monkeys, birds, iguanas. Cons: not easy to get to, a very dusty ride from airport. Food was very fresh, very healthy but could have used a little more flavor. a long walk or short cab ride to town, Monkeys/racoons will go after food left out or in refrigerator if not locked[we were warned].Activities a bit expensive and most not on site. Overall great and will hopefully return in future
