I could not have found a more posh place. I came across this place on Trip Advisor. It's listed #5 as the best hotel in Oia, Santorini. The location is in the center of the village of Oia with plenty of shops and restaurants surrounding the area. It's a boutique hotel that captures the greek traditions, but still looks chic. The Andronis Boutique Hotel pictures online looked so perfect it almost looked fake or too good to be true. Well, the photos are definitely real. All I can say is, Wow! We had a large patio in front of our suite where were could enjoy our breakfast or a glass of vino. Our suite was gorgeous! Everything was white, the walls, the couch, and the bed. The ceilings were caved and the bathroom looked like I was entering a cave. Off our living room we had a balcony with two lounge chairs and an infinity hot tub. Other suites come with a personal pool as well. The entire team at this hotel was very friendly and accommodating. Someone is always around making sure you have everything you might need or want. The staff is genuinely happy and makes you feel welcomed. All of their recommendations for restaurants, things to do and shopping were very accurate and pleasing :)

This was a fabulous hotel! We had a private balcony with a hot tub and a 180 degree view of the Aegean. The room was lovely, and the service was wonderful - we were totally spoiled. The hotel is small and every room had a stunning ocean view. The buffet breakfast every morning was fabulous. The dinner menu, atmosphere and service were so good - we ate there 2 nights out of the 4 we stayed there. It was very expensive for us but worth it. Absolutely stunning!

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, and didn’t get enough of this magical atmosphere! Everything was amazing. The dinner we had, in this unbelievably romantic restaurant, with the white tables and the scarlet red table cloth, the lanterns…oh it was romantic! The suite had a beautiful Jacuzzi but didn’t have enough time to relax in it. The following morning, we managed to take some time and enjoy our rich breakfast, before leaving. I promise, I will be back the soonest possible!

During my stay in Santorini this year, we split our holiday between a hotel in Firostefani for a few days and wanted a hotel in Oia for the rest of the trip. I had dreamt of staying in one of the cave style hotel rooms in Oia that are so famous there and Andronis Boutique was an absolutely perfect choice. It is right on the main strip in Oia, in the midst of all the action (though in October when we went, thankfully the crowds weren't at all unpleasant) and yet things hadn't yet shut down for the year so all the restaurants etc were still open for business as usual. The staff just ooze professionalism and courtesy here. Everyone from the restaurant staff to the concierge to the bell boys (who have some job carting luggage up and down the numerous steps from the rooms to the concierge on street level).Be mindful of this if you have mobility issues - it is the same with most places in Oia and in fact with many parts of Santorini but it's just something to be aware of if you find it difficult to go up and down stairs. The room was enormous and built into a cave structure with a huge living area and the bed at the end of the room. When we first checked in, we were also brought a welcome treat to the room in the form of locally made yoghurt with a variety of in house made sauces/compote, which were delicious. In the room itself, there is a fridge, minibar, large TV, sofa and decent bathroom (with a black toilet seat - that was a first!) Unusually, they also stocked barrier contraception in a box in the bathroom - I have never seen that before in a hotel!) Our room also had its own outdoor terrace with 2 sun loungers, a private jacuzzi, which we were free to use round the clock and which the staff told us they could easily change the temperature should we need it. It had the most incredible Caldera view as well as gorgeous views of neighbouring whitewash buildings. Each suite has its own name and comes with its own guest book (I am kicking myself for running out of time on our last day to be able to write in ours!) They also have a range of DVDs at hotel reception that you can borrow free of charge. We did this one night - I chose Mama Mia, we were on a gorgeous Greek island after all so it had to be done! We only had time to spend one full afternoon poolside (there were 2 outdoor pools, one warm, one cool) and by the pool, we were brought fresh water, they wait on you hand and foot with towels etc and they even brought frozen alcohol granitas! We tried the Lauda restaurant one evening, which was magical at night time though I think at dusk, it would have been even nicer in terms of the views. Food was fabulous and although the price is a little steep, it really does feel like a good splurge as it is a gorgeous fine dining experience. I also sampled the spa (although it is based at the Andronis Luxury Suites hotel, which is a sister property just next door but I managed to walk straight past it resulting in me being a bit late before I realised so be sure to check where you are going!) The facial I had was lovely with the therapist asking about my skin type, whether I have had previous facials, what kind of treatments I have had in the past etc. The only thing that might be a nice final improvement at the spa is if , at the end of the treatment, you are given a chance to unwind for a few minutes and offered a drink before you get dressed and leave. This hotel is exactly the kind of ultimate Oia luxury that I had heard about before coming and although these hotels are costly, this was totally worth every penny.

Santorini was the highlight of our week in Greece and we could not have been more happy with our hotel choice. Andronis Boutique is simply the best hotel I have ever been to!! The location is unique, right on the pedestriat stree so that everything is within walking distance. The view is just breathtaking! I spent hours every day on my patio staring at the Caldera, it was as if it was a dream! The room itself was very unique, it was actually like a cave, a very luxurius cave with its' own private hot tub on the patio which we enjoyed to the max! The food was amazing but I save that for ny other review of their restaurant! However what was really the best of all was the service. I had read reviews about the staff of the Andronis Boutique and had high expectations, I also have been lucky enough to stay at some of the worlds best hotels but I have never received higher level of service that I did at the Andronis! Everybody were super friendly and they really cared about us and made everythng they could to make our stay memorable! We will definately be going back as soon as possible!
