We booked through lastminute.com 2 days before we arrived. On arrival we tried to check in to be told that our daughter of ten years was unable to stay ! The reception informed us that this hotel was for 14years and older but lastminute.com say they are not aware of this! The hotel staff called the manager to see if we could stay rather than turn us away due to it been a late arrival however have gave us set locations we can use I.e a pool directly out side a snack type bar that we are also to eat in or suggested to order room service ( I can not see why anyone would come to this beautiful place and sit in the room to eat every meal!). The hotel only allow the 14plus for safety reasons so I fully appreciate why, however when we have paid over Ā£3500 for 4 nights for two adults and a child, restricting us from the best features of the hotel ( restaurant and infinity pool etc.) you can understand my frustrations. I am gobsmacked the hotel and lastminute.com have failed to communicate one of the most important rules of the hotel and that neither party are taking responsibility/ bending over backwards to over compensate for this error. I know have a child who is frightened to walk around as she feels so uncomfortable when times at this age in life should be cherished moments for a parent complete disaster of a holiday and waste of money and more importantly quality family time spoiled when we are so restricted with spending quality time together due to our business x

The moment we booked Mystique, I contact Concierge and the service is top notch. They responded to my email in a timely manner and provided detailed information about the hotel and tours in Santorini. I arrived pick-up from the airport and the driver was there when we arrived and took care of everything. I have a lot of respect for the people who work at the property. They walk up and down the steeps stairs carrying heavy luggage, or items all day. I only had a small purse and I was out of breath. Check-in We arrived early at the hotel and was quickly greeted by Maxim and served a delicious beverage. Maxim is a gem! His superior customer service and quick response is one of the best parts of our trip. We would mention what we were interested in and Maxim would handle the rest. Since our room was not ready, he suggested a restaurant that we visit. He called the restaurants, made reservations and made sure that the restaurant reserve a table with the best view! It was absolutely magical. Breakfast This has to be one of the best breakfast ever. Everything is so fresh and absolutely delicious. We ate breakfast at the lower restaurant during our stay and always had the most amazing views. I'm dreaming about the views, my omelette and multiple glasses of mimosas. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! The staff was extremely attentive and very welcoming. The customer service at Mystique is exceptional. The only place we questioned service, was at the upper level restaurant at the bar. We sat there for awhile the first night with the intentions of ordering drinks before dinner. There were two young ladies standing behind the bar and it look awhile for them to greet us. Not a big deal, but compared to the exceptional service throughout the hotel, it was noticed. Room We stayed in room #36 and had a private terrace with a jacuzzi. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view. We would wake up early to see the sunset. The main problem I had with the room and I voiced this with the staff, is the sewer odor coming for the bathroom. Maintenance came and put a chemical in the drain, but to me it made the smell worse. The chemical had a strong paint/acetone smell, on top of the sewer smell. I smelled it the moment we checked in and I wish I had voiced my concerns immediately. This definitely would not keep us from visiting the property again, but I would book another room with a different bathroom. They mentioned they will take care of this during off season. We wanted to stay at Mystique another night, but visited their sister property Vedema. That property was also beautiful, but did not have the 5 star customer service that Mystique has. We cannot wait to visit again! Thank you so much Maxim for all your assistance and lovely personality!

My husband and I have just returned from a short stay at Mystique. The hotel is absolutely stunning and captures what you imagine Santorini to look like! The hotel is literally 2 mins walk to the centre of Oia where there are lots of restaurants, boutique & designer shops, coffee shops and patisseries On arrival we were met by our hotel transfer which was fully air conditioned and had WI-FI. We received a complimentary amenities basket with refreshing towels, bottled water and guides of the island. Check in was very efficient and calm and the lemonade with mint welcome drink was lovely and refreshing. We were lucky enough to be staying in a Spiritual Suite which has a small living area, bedroom, bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate rain shower, fitness room and hot tub on our terrace, we were absolutely spoilt! The views were breathtaking however which ever aspect of the hotel you are looking out from on to the Caldera is amazing! We had the club sandwich as room service which was so delicious we had it again at the Charisma restaurant for lunch the next day! The portions were huge and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast at Charisma was amazing too! Being a la carte we got to choose from an array of delights both continental and Greek options which was a fab idea as it gave us the chance to sample local delights such as Greek Omlettes and Greek Pancakes. We loved the bread baskets which come with home made jars of jam such as plum and honey and enjoyed luxury choices such as Smoked Salmon and Champagne :) We ate out in the evenings as we wanted to have a walk before dinner however the food wasn't great i have to admit. It was also quite expensive, we feel in hindsight now that it would have been better to have ate at the hotel as although prices would have been similar, the standard of food and level of service would have been exceptionally higher. All in all we had a very memorable experience and would highly recommend Santorini and in particular the Mysique to anyone, it would certainly not disappoint!

Excellent property with wonderful staff. Views are beautiful. Very clean with strong attention to detail. Breakfast is really good and turn down service nice. Atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We will return. As in most of Santorini be prepared to walk the steps. The Oia experience is great.
