Petit Palace Suites: A wonderful property at the level of a GRAND Palace!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

A wonderful property with a breathtaking view on the Caldera: You cannot expect a better place to spend a perfect time in Santorini Island, far from the traditional touristic places but very easily reachable if needed. Most importantly, from the Hotel Manager to the waiters without to forget the front desk agents, you will find an amazing dedicated Team, always delighted to take care of your wellness and share with you their best tips to have a very enjoyable Greek journey! Therefore, if you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to go there, even only for a spectacular and delicious typical dinner on the terrace, with an unparalleled privileged spot on the sunset. Ευχαριστώ πολύ! Review written by two very satisfied guests, Room 102, from April 29th to May 4th 2024.

Amazing experience, highly recommended!

We would like to thank you for an amazing honeymoon experience, that we had the chance to spend at your Hotel. Calling it a Hotel does not do it justice, as the resort is more than that. With a pleasing aesthetic infrastructure, blending into the surrounding area in a magical way. The Petit Maison suite we had, with the breathtaking view of the caldera and the sunsets, our private heated pool and our indoor hot tub, the spacious rooms inside were truly amazing. Your staff, from the bellboys to the guest service agents, to the waiters and the bartender, the chef, were all providing an outstanding quality of service, friendly and polite always, respectful and pleasant. Mr. Kostas included, with a the warm welcome you delivered upon our arrival and all your recommendations for our activities on the island, were on the spot. The quality and variety of food at the restaurant, left us troubled as to what to chose, as everything was prepared with care and delicious. Same goes for the cocktails we enjoyed, all perfectly prepared and presented. If our future plans come to fruition, rest assured that we will chose Petit Palace again for our vacations, as such high and exemplary quality of service is rare.

The best God Damn hotel in Santorini - Don’t @ me! 🙌🏼🇬🇷💙🤍

Where to start, the start right? Well the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the best greeting. Nice cold glass of Lemonade for me and my wife. Beaming smiles and that all started with Efthymios. What a polite, nice and helpful guy. He got us sorted, settled into our room. Asked what was on our agenda and how long we were staying. Giving us a few ideas also and basically saying anything we needed help on. Just ask, just call or head up. Our room was lovely! Clean every day, fresh towels every day. A lot of plugs and storage for your clothes. Which sounds funny saying this. But you can never have enough plugs and storage for your clothes…oh and hangers. Plenty of clothes hangers so our nice evening outfits didn’t have to live in the suitcase. The bathroom was lovely, was my only worry was the bathroom reading some reviews. Only because we heard most of the bathrooms were a little dated and were bath only with a shower head. But to our surprise they have undergone big refurbs on this area and we had a lush walk in shower with good water pressure. Warm quickly and easy. Just lush basically! The location is stunning, right on the cliff edge and west facing so you’re always in a prime spot for the sunset every single day. Which is ideal because heading to the hot spots for the sunset are good and all, but I honestly couldn’t see the point where you could have your own. Undisturbed view of the sunset at your own room. With 25 rooms, it makes the hotel not seem crowded and staff are so 5 star with their service and attention to detail. Your slam bank in the middle of the island. You can get free shuttle busses right outside the hotel to the next town over which is Fira. It’s like a 2 min drive and 5 max with the bus. Probably 30-40 min walk if you attempt it. We decided because we wanted to explore all the island and the hotel location being perfect. We would rent a car. The hotel arranged a car hire quickly and simply and you feel as ease because they’re sorting it. We spent €35 a day for three days to bowl about. Site see, go to restaurants (because the taxis are expensive!) and it was just so easy. They pulled up on the hotel car park, reception gives you a call and up you head and pay upfront. Reccomend going for the full insurance for an extra €30 euros. So worth it. No worries or drama then is there? The breakfast was spot on! Never had this before, but you could customise what you wanted for breakfast. For example if you wanted an omelette, you tick the items you want in it - bacon / tomato’s and cross out the ones you don’t. Loved that! Because the hotel is small and personable. They knew our drinks order everything morning. The young lad I forget his name (been there for only 20 something days) was the master at this. Antonis!!! Great lad! Alexandra and Constantine were amazing also! So helpful and smiley and polite and just…well…if you weren’t happy in the morning, they made sure you were! 😂 and of course the chefs behind the scenes. Never a bad breakfast! Spot on 🤌🏼👌🏼. Having breakfast whilst having nice views of the caldera is another level! Awesome! Pool area - didn’t use much because we were sight seeing. But had a couple 1 hour naps on the nice sun longers whilst waiting for the other half to get ready 😂 and it was nice. Didn’t dip in the pool, so can’t tell you about that but looked good. Staff always asking if we wanted a free towel or a drink so again. Very helpful.l staff again! Bar area - again, lovely location. Great view. Now being on the cliff edge. Some nights can get a little windy or cold for the April months. But that’s representative of the time of year, May onwards is spot on. The staff could not be anymore helpful when it came to making sure you had the fires near your table or a blanket for the wife when sat at the bar (nice touch that 👌🏼) food at the restaurant no complaints. Also you don’t have to be a guest at the Elia to eat there, so even if you don’t stay at the hotel. I would recommend popping in for a meal. We did the same with there sister hotel. The staff again at dinner time - Tall Panos and Small Panos and Kostas (not the manager / gaffa Kostas because there have two Kostas’s as well as two Panos’s 😂) will the real Panos and Kostas please stand up 😂. Seriously though, we’re great with their food and bar service. Vlad (Vladdy the Baddy!) was a great barman and good entertainer and speaker and listener! Very good barman material for sure! Possible coolest guy I’ve ever met. Only got to see by his reactor shade raybands (stunk of coolness that bloke) Right. Last but not least! The Gaffa and the dream team! The Gaffa “Kostas” the manager for those who aren’t British speaking. Was bullseye every time. Most managers make themselves seem to busy to speak to you and most you will get is a waive. Not with Gaffa Kostas, wanted to know who you were, what your doing whilst here. Where are you from. Had his team drilled so well, but at the same time. gave the staff freedom to peacock there servicing skills. Vargos and Penny “The Dream Team” these two were just Blisimo 🤌🏼 So when they found out it was our fifth year wedding anniversary. Wow…could these guys not help enough. First off, the Gaffa was going through all the different ranges of restaurants to find the perfect scene to enjoy our anniversary dinner. He recommended a beautiful traditional Greek authentic restaurant. With live Greek music and great food and service called “Agaze” which, he called himself on my behalf with Vargos and Penny and made it clear this was a big dinner, big occasion. Right the hotel were able to organise a massive suprise for my wife when she returned by decorating the room with candles, rose petals and champagne and balloons. My wife loved it, Kostas The Gaffa, Efthymios, Vargos and Penny nailed it! The dream team went above and well beyond my expectations. Honestly, doodle do enough. I would not hesitate to come back here again and I strongly dislike visiting the same hotels because of how many more there is to experience. But this place hits different. To summarise, if you’re going to Santorini, you have to book this hotel! No question, no doubt! Thank you Petit Palace.

Excellent stay in Fira, Santorini

Spectacular service, excellent food -especially the breakfast. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The view is absolutely stunning. It is not in the middle of town where it could be crowded or loud, very relaxing. Beautiful place.
