I’ve never felt so welcome to a country yet alone a resort. Santo has been by far the best experience. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and from the time we were pick up from the airport to the time we arrive we have been waited on both hand and foot. We experienced one of the best massages ever. Yea when you arrive and leave and they also sent us home with complimentary ones. Alex and Palos were so kind and had great attention to detail

I chose this resort for the yoga and yoga and it did not disappoint. The highlight was yoga lessons with Katerina! She brought a variety of classes from vinyasa morning ritual to strength building to meditation. I took 4 classes and wish I could have done more. Highly recommend!

Day one and I’m ready to go already! Will also be calling Costco to advise of the horrible selection of using this hotel. It certainly it is not in alignment with the quality Costco prides itself on. I have a cave suite with a pool and the entire suite smells like garbage! It’s so bad that I feel nauseous and they are taking their time coming to check things out. Advise the front desk that I am starting to feel sick the smell is so bad and it’s been half an hour and no one is here yet and no offer to change my room. This has ruined my trip! I wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anyone EVER! Asked for a manager on call and there isn’t one. Concierge keeps saying I understand your concern but isn’t doing anything about it. This place is horrific! So before anything has been done, both my husband and I are having to just stand outside because the stench is literally sickening! Now we both have vomited from the smell. Had my friend come down to the room to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind and she could smell it before she came in. I just want to go home! I want my money back and I want the next flight out!

We booked the honeymoon suite with our private pool for our stay, and it became our little oasis. The hotel and staff are amazing, and the views are exquisite. The property is clean, the rooms are spacious, the grounds are well-kept and attractive, and the vibe is mellow and relaxing. It's the quintessential couples' resort. It's only a 5-minute walk to all the hustle and bustle of Oia, yet it feels secluded and romantic. Additionally, it's just a 10-minute walk from the Blue Dome church and Amoudhi Bay. You can watch the sunset from anywhere on this property with a nice bottle of wine, with the Aegean Sea as the perfect backdrop. I literally can’t wait to go back.

The hotel is situated in a perfect spot. Away from all the Hussle and bussle but also only a 7 minute walk to the main area of Oia with a private path which is brilliant. Our suite was lovely. A very nice size, very private and the decor was lovely. The staff were so friendly and anytime we called reception they were there to assist us. The sunset was beautiful to see from the comfort of the hotel bar and Sun loungers. There was only one thing I was quite disappointed with and it is why I only gave 4*. We were only staying for 3 nights and my partner had paid for 2 packages the “Romantic turndown” and “Private dining” as he proposed to me on this holiday. Whilst both things were so thoughtful of him the actual service provided was very poor. The “romantic turndown” was expensive for rose petals and candles only. €100 he paid for when we arrived and he informed the hotel prior that I wasn’t able to drink as I am pregnant but they put nothing in place of the bottle of wine that should have been included (which would have been the why the price was so high to begin with). So he spent all that money on a few candles, rose petals and a small chocolate dessert which served one person. I personally wouldn’t recommend this package for what you get. The other package was the “private dining” which in itself is a lovely thought as you dine for two on at your suite which is so private. Which for me was great because being pregnant I was also quite sick throughout my stay and couldn’t really leave the hotel to eat. But again, my partner paid €300 for 5 lanterns to be be lit up around a table for 2. There was no table setting it was just a bare table with 2 chairs and a small light. We had to be out the room an hour before but in all honesty there was hardly anything to set up. Although the food was from their main restaurant and presented beautifully, I feel they could have made this a lot more special than a few candles. A flower on the table or a candle and some rose petals leading the way to the table would have made a huge difference. For the money spent and the occasion it was (proposal) I don’t feel as though the hotel went out their way to make this very special. The waiter was lovely but at times it was also awkward as he would stand next to the table and just watch whilst we were enjoying the moment and having a private chat. Additionally, I have seen on previous posts how people have been provided complimentary services by the hotel for lots of different occasions during people’s stays. The hotel knew this was engagement and we were also expecting a baby but we were offered nothing complimentary from the hotel nor did they go the extra mile to make this really special which was extremely disappointing. Overall the hotel was really nice and situated in a good spot, but I do feel they could have done a lot more to make our stay more special for the occasion it was.
