Reviews for Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo
This is my 4th stay in the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo in the last year and a half, and my second review of the hotel. I like a lot of things about this hotel, but what I like most is the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and it is clear that everyone is very well trained and organised to ensure guests have a premium experience. Friendly and helpful smiles are much appreciated after a long flight from Europe, arriving in the early hours of the morning - exhausted and with lost luggage on two of four visits. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained, with everything you need. The Granado toiletries are gorgeous. The Club lounge has been restyled since my last visit, and I like it a lot, it's very contemporary and modern - with the same great views from the 20th floor. If you are a solo traveller it is worthwhile to upgrade to Club. You can spend some time there in the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a nice choice of food snacks and drinks available - similar to a good quality airport business lounge. Breakfast can be taken in this lounge also. Overall, I feel comfortable, relaxed and safe in the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo, and this hotel is my first choice for next visits.

Grand Hyatts around the world are generally excellent hotels. This one, however, doesn't measure up. While the lobby is impressive and the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms are cheaply furnished and rather overpriced (as is the lunch buffet). The hotel is also not particularly well located, and the street immediately in front is a traffic nightmare (admittedly not the hotel's fault).

Hotel has nice physical building but they can't seem to get hot water to the high floors. Restaurants have menus but many of the items are unavailable which you only find out when you try to order them.

I spent one day at Sao Paulo, coming back to Grand Hyatt Morumbi after two years. A very nice hotel, good quality of service, comfortable room, not crowded this time. Breakfast quality and variety positive even if in other hotels around the world I found a higher level. Gym good but not big enough (ok at 6amd, crowded at 7am)... with a choice of machines limited due to the space available

I have had four business trips to Sao Paulo for last two years and have stayed at a different hotel each time. I can tell Grand Hyatt is the best by far compared to any other hotels I have stayed in around Morumbi area - Facility, Accommodations, Staffs, Location, etc. Not to mention the quality of room (size, view and bedding), one of features I like the most was the shower box nicely decorated with marbles and tiles that gives room much 'premiumness', as well as the amenities supplied by the local brand Granado. (You can also find a small brand shop located at lobby.) Location-wise, it is in the better position compared to other hotel chains at WTC, especially when you get to the business complex next to the shopping mall. It takes only about 5-10 minutes by walk, while you would spend 30-60 min in a car stuck in the infamous traffic in the morning. I believe the higher room rate, compared to others in the area, worth much and would stay at Hyatt if I visit to Sao Paulo again.
