This is a 5* hotel so expectations are high. Welcome and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The breakfast is very good on the 23rd floor with great views. The bar is fun outside but inside isn't very cosy. We stayed twice as we went out of town for a few days and then came back so it's a bit annoying that you get an e-mail after the first stay asking if we aren't considering another visit soon when we had a confirmed reservation. The message was to my e-mail but addressed to my wife using a part of her surname as if it was her first name. There's a Nespresso machine but they sell the capsules! at this room rate; they must be joking! A few things need some attention. But overall, we liked the Tivoli! Last comment; our friends came over and invited us to Seen, the trendy top floor restaurant. They didn't even get a free hours parking...

A stay in S√£o Paulo for four nights, one feels so much at home with friendliest and most helpful staff. The hotel has a good location in a quiet area but close to the main streets. Its huge room with excellent amenities has an excellent aerial view of the city below. Buffet breakfast is definitely to look forward to enjoy at the 23rd floor.

1. Location: excellent location - walking distance to one of the main streets in Sao Paulo, and a hotel sponsored park - large variety of restaurants to choose from very close to the hotel - safe to walk from the morning to around 11pm at night. 2. Facilities - clean hotel - everything worked - great breakfast, although it does get busy and you may have to wait a few minutes during peak period on the weekend. 3. Service and staff: generally very helpful and responsive. I did have a significant issue with my billing, where the hotel (or their bank) did not reverse my credit card hold after I paid the bill - took me 4 attempts to resolve and I had to follow up instead of them taking control of the situation. I overheard another guest with the same problem so keep an eye out. 4. Value for money - good value for money given the facilities and location.

I had been staying at the Emiliano Hotel in the same neighborhood of Jardins but with prices over $600/night, I decided to try Tivoli Mofarrej and had a wonderful experience. Rooms are well appointed with great linens. Shower and bathroom was spacious. Rooftop bar/restaurant is a must, has some of the nicest views of SP. The staff, as it is usual in Brazil, goes out of their way to feel welcome. Location is on one block off Paulista Avenue. As good as it gets. Will be returning soon! One note on a recent 1-star review given right before mine. Service at restaurants in Brazil is not like in the US. There is a cultural difference which seems missed by the previous reviewer. While in the US, one is asked if ready to order immediately as one sits at the table, and a meal last 45 minutes, in Brazil the same process may take 2.5 hours or more. Instead of becoming desperate, one should enjoy it! :)

This is my second time at Tivoli Mofarrej S√£o Paulo. Breakfast is good with a mix of eggs, breads, ‚Äútapioca‚ÄĚ, sausages, bacon,etc.. The room could be better, but overall it‚Äôs a good choice. Location is a plus. Very good location. Near Paulista Av and good restaurants.
