Wonderful location and friendly staff all of which exceeded expectations. From Valet and Reception to the Healing Arts Center & Spa and dinning at Murray Circle were all unbelievable. The view isn’t bad either. We will be back.

From the minute we arrived at Cavallo Point, I could tell this is a place I would want to visit again. The staff that greeted our car and the staff that checked me into my room were all very pleasant and helpful. When they took me up to my room in one of the Lexus SUVs (which wasn't really necessary because the walk wasn't far), the staff once again made sure everything was taken care of. The room was amazing as well. Very well appointed and great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay. The room was well sized. Although the whole room was nice, the sitting seat by the window was a favorite. Since I was there for work, we used the meeting rooms as well. They took care of us with great food and service. The only downside, if you can call it that, was that every time we had a break, I was drawn to get outside. For work or for pleasure, make sure to visit Cavallo Point.

Typically, Cavallo Point does not disappoint, our 4th time here, it gets better every time. Our welcome was wonderful, the suite well set up and the anticipation of waking up to the glorious view of the Golden Gate Bridge, well, just wonderful.

Enjoyed an overnight Mother Daughter Getaway here and loved it. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and relaxing. We each enjoyed a massage and facial which were expensive but pretty good. Not sure if I would pay that price again for massage but still great atmosphere and relaxing treatments. We also enjoyed going to Sausalito for lunch, dinner and shopping which we greatly appreciated the free shuttle service the hotel offers, although we wish it ran later than 5:30 pm. Eric one of the valet, shuttle staff was great. He took us to dinner in the shuttle even though it was later to avoid having to try to find our way driving in the car at night. Eric was always prompt and nice in picking us up from our room to go to various places throughout the resort as well, because I'm pregnant and couldn't walk up and down the hills. He was so quick to come get us with a smile. Thank you Eric :) We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel's restaurant which was good, we were a little disappointed by the complimentary breakfast the hotel offered which only consisted of croissants and muffins and tea. All in all a great relaxing stay that we really enjoyed. We would defiantly return.

Just spent the weekend at Cavallo Point. I was in the Marin/San Francisco area for a family gathering. Couldn’t have loved it more. The award Cavallo won for “Sense of Place” really resonates. Gorgeous property; redolent in history and natural beauty. Serene and peaceful, yet close to everything in San Francisco and Marin. My room, in one of the historic buildings, was charming, comfortable, and had an amazing view across the parade grounds to the city skyline. Service everywhere was friendly, gracious, and attentive. The overall vibe is relaxed, comfortable, and thoughtfully high quality. Breakfast on the porch of the restaurant was delicious, with a very special view and atmosphere. Runs and hikes in the hills above the Golden Gate were spectacular. The early morning coffee and baked goods in the main lobby were delicious and a helpful nice touch. I have been fortunate to stay in many of the world’s great hotels. Cavallo Point is now high on my list of favorites. It is unique; best for people who value historic ambiance, natural beauty, and relaxed charm. Those in search of contemporary amenities and “lifestyles of the rich and famous “ atmosphere should go elsewhere. Finally, to the gentleman at the reception desk Friday afternoon who found me a room when I arrived early and needed to freshen up before attending a memorial service: thank you! It made a huge difference and I really appreciated it.
