Reviews for Cavallo Point Lodge

My all-time favorite Bay Area stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

WOW! Cavallo Point knows what they're doing. I had the most wonderful time staying in the historic property. I was welcomed by a knowledgable and friendly staff. My room was ready at 10:30am, which I wasn't expecting but was thrilled to learn after a long early-morning flight. They were able to upgrade me to a Deluxe King - incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed. Walking the grounds truly helped me escape the stress of my day-to-day, and I felt a world away. I was also able to participate in the Lexus Driving Experience. This was a highlight of my trip as I ran an errand in Marin and cruised the BEAUTIFUL headlands in a convertible. The food was delicious - surprisingly, the breakfast room service may have been my favorite. I can't say enough good things about Cavallo. I will absolutely be coming back AND recommending it to others.

One of the best places I’ve stayed. Luxury, yet not stuffy. Property is beautiful and private. Close to Muir Woods, stepson beach and more for day trips.

Cavallo point Lodge is the epitome of where exceptional service meets iconic geographical beauty. Rolando immediately greeted me on the front drive and secured my luggage. Rolando essentially was my tour guide to the room, which was great as this was my first time to the area. The guest room was exceptional with sweeping views of the mountain landscape as well as the Golden Gate Bridge. A must if you are in the area.

Best stay in San Francisco

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We have countless times stayed on properties in SF never near the Golden Gate Bridge. I loved that it was a getaway in the middle of the city. You couldn’t even tell right next to us was downtown. Everyone is so friendly. The room we stayed in was amazing.
