We were pretty disappointed with this hotel. It is very overpriced for what you get. Rooms are extremely small. We rented a Deluxe King room. It was not deluxe. It was not even average. The only thing this hotel had going for it was the location. It was in the Historic District right on the river. Convenient location to shops and restaurants. From the front exterior the hotel is very pretty. The lobby is also very nice, which leads you to believe the entire hotel is the same. It is not. I would not stay here again.

Our first room, $600 something a night, riverview, was below the lobby, next to the elevator machine room, which sounded like a table saw screeching all night long. Features included: *2 drunk neighbors arguing from 1:30-3:30---I can give you a word-for -word, *no chair in the room, *when I ordered king or two queen, it didn't occur to me, at $600/ night, that I wouldn't get to choose. Nope, and no apology for the non-accommodation. Our second room , keeping in mind we paid for a river view, overlooked the valet parking stand. I asked for credit for the difference between a river view and a valet parking view. Do you think I ever heard from them? Nope. PS: we could STILL hear the elvator all night long in our valet parking room!

With the river in the background and all the water traffic going past , as well as the river walk it has plenty to offer. The rooms are comfortable, perhaps a .ittle outdated. The roof terrace was good for a drink and to watch the river. Breakfast staff let the Hotel down we had breakfast there twice both times the hostess was. Issuing and we had quite a wait for her , there were people backed up waiting for her she and the serving staff looked scruffy, the food was okay

During a weekend visit this hotel is at a perfect location, right in the middle of where everything is. Parking is difficult but the hotel offers Valet parking (for a fee, of course), there is a pay as you go garage parking across the street or if you are lucky, you can find a coin parking spot at the street. The hotel maintains the antique but luxury looks, great restaurant on the first floor and an awesome sky bar/grill at the roof top with an excellent view of the river or the city, your choice, has live music and great environment. The service was excellent from the moment I checked in, the valet guys, the front desk lady, everyone was highly motivated to service and welcome the guests; made you feel relax from the beginning and willing to bend over backwards to serve; great first impression. The room was a dream, clean and very ready, with a prefect river view. It was a great experience. The breakfast was full and made to order, great dining experience. The only issue I had was that due to be at the the 8th floor suite, you'll hear all the chair movement from the bar upstairs (at least until they close). But if you are enjoying the night out in the city, you'll be so tired that probably won't even notice! I believe that if the install some cushions under the chairs legs, it would minimized the noise to the rooms below at the 8th floor. But the rest of the hotel is very nice decorated and with a elegant look. And the service was, again, excellent during our stay.

The Bohemian is a wonderful place to stay for a Savannah getaway. It's an easy road trip from Atlanta. The hotel is romantic, and it is in a terrific location. The rooms are very comfortable. The roof top bar is a fun spot and the restaurant is worth a visit.
