Can’t beat the soundproofing and the beds!

Excellent soundproofing and really good beds! Valet parking is pricey (downtown Savannah after all ) but there is street parking across the street which was very reasonable. Lovely lovely location with parks, the river and restaurants nearby. The food at paccis is good but dining late (8:00) means they appear to be closing up. Coffee needs work—better quality and heat. Hotel and rooms are looking a bit tired. Good stay with lots of friendly doggies.

Stay Away!! You've been warned....⚠️

This place shouldn't even be a Kimpton branded hotel or any other IHG brand. Place is way understaffed, and the staff that is there is not friendly or helpful. At 4:35pm they still did not have a room to check into after a 4.5 hour road trip. Room was incredibly underwhelming for the overwhelming rate. I don't know why housekeeping wouldn't flip the room, since they certainly didn't clean it. They couldn't even check our bags and parked the car fully loaded. Very hot day means permanent wrinkles in clothes. This is an old property that is owned by the proprietors of the JW Marriott, which I guessing is where they sent all their talented staff and maintenance budget. Everything above is first day experience. The ensuing days comprised being berated for leaving the above poor review on Google and told rudely that, "Nobody was rude to you!". The response on Google was, "we're sorry, we hope you'll give us another try!" Why on God's green earth would I do that? In addition, the valet staff was too busy watching Tik Toc on their phones to pay attention to the notification from the app service on their phone where guests request their car ahead of leaving the room. The last morning we left, I left a notice at 3:15AM and at 4AM when we went down, the valet still hadn't waken up to get our car. Housekeeping twice took all our towels, and didn't leave clean replacements because there were not enough to stay stocked. And the topper of all toppers, they don't use fitted sheets on top of the mattress (you know, the bottom sheet with elastic edges so the sheet doesn't move around and leave you laying directly on the mattress), instead they just lay a regular top sheet on top of the mattress so you wake up every morning on top of the raw mattress, YUCK! Stay elsewhere, you've been warned ⚠️.

Wow! The Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah, GA exceeded all expectations!! Pulling up to the venue and being greeted by the tour bus for rock band Heart was exciting! Even more impressive was Jason at the front desk! Jason immediately set the vibe for my stay! He was pure joy and his candor was a fresh breath of air from the staunch reception desks at even the poshest of hotels. He is the rock star and charm of Savannah tending to all my groups’s needs in the most excellent way! Special thanks to the entire front desk team, Adina, too! Her energy is contagious! My small group enjoyed everything about the Kimpton! From the newly renovated room to the pristine grounds to the delicious food! The conference space was perfect and working with the sales team was refreshing. Their immediate response and attention to details made my job easy! Thank you Adam and Hunter. Chef delivered quite the menu, every meal topping the last! I even went without dinner one night because lunch was absolutely amazing and I had more than one serving! Thank you Minh for serving our group each day! Keep making your American dream come true by continuing to give the service that your customers love! The Kimpton is very lucky to have you! And, Zulfira, everyone needs a Zulfira in their hotel! Pacci Italian Restaurant was delicious, but Zulfira’s cheery disposition made the food most scrumptious! If only everyone was as passionate as Zulfira when it comes to their job, the world would be a better place. Got to the Brice and not only make memories, but make friends! ❤️❤️❤️

2 Star Hotel Not 4 Star

I was excited about staying at the Kimpton Brice Hotel. I was concerned after my hotel bookings. There were some negative reviews. I had emailed the hotel but never heard back. I was warmly greeted by the hotel receptionist. She is such a a gem. I was given Room 356 with a view of the pool. The room is very basic. My television was already on. Lack of furniture . My one office chair woobles. No microwave, premium towels or bedding, and given 1 bar of soap. There is a small refrigerator . The refrigerator was empty. So much for a stocked bar. No alarm clock. My bed squeaks at every turn. The floor felt of vinyl. The bathroom is small with no sink. I would question the 4 star rating. I would probably rate it more in the 2 star range. The good news is that my room was clean.

Didn't meet our expectations

Location is great. Housekeeping is minimal. We never quite got enough towels and they left our door propped open so anyone could have gone in. Staff were not particularly well trained or responsive. We lost a room key and when we asked for a replacement they didn't even ask us for id. Room amenities are fine. Happy hour and fruited water in the lobby are nice touches. Concierge not very helpful with restaurant recommendations.
