Mansion on Forsyth Park

Bobby the door man was amazing! So friendly and personable! We had Chase Sapphire upgrade and they gave us an unfortunate view of a roof with fans on it. That was disappointing. Other than that it was very nice. Beautiful hotel! Beautiful city!

From arrival the experience has been top notch. The valet is great. Matteo and Bobby with the valet service have been very kind and helpful. Bar Bibi and the pool service was exceptional. St. Bibiana was absolutely amazing. St. Bibiana and staff took such great care of us as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Special shout out to Jesse who was working the bar and also tending to us during our dining experience. He provided phenomenal service. Bravo Hotel Bardo!

My daughter came to Savannah as a SCAD student 15 years ago. She opened a successful business (White Bluff Tattoo Company) after graduating. Over the years I’ve stayed in every high end hotel up here. Hotel Bardo is by far and away my favorite luxury resort in Savannah. This is my second time staying here. The staff, amenities and beautiful surroundings always exceed my expectations

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bardo while we were in town to see Phish at EnMarket Arena and celebrate my husband's birthday. The hotel felt more like a resort - we loved the pool, the gym, the spa and the restaurant. The location is excellent - it felt very peaceful to be near the park.

Hotel Bardo, formerly known as The Mansion on Forsyth Park, has been revitalized under new ownership. My husband and I stayed at the Mansion in 2020 and were very impressed with the hotel's history and southern Gothic decor. Fast forward to our 2026 stay, we found Hotel Bardo to possess a very cool and upbeat vibe. One could best desribe it as...Where southern charm meets coastal chic! Service was spot on and we enjoyed our Modern-Italian swanky guest room. The beds were quite comfortable, the room was spacious and I particularly liked the subdued lighting. When you are paying premium rates you expect premium amenities and Hotel Bardo provides just that. You will find Dyson hair dryers, Frette bathrobes and Nespresso machines - all very nice. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Saint Bibiana, the hotel's upscale Italian restaurant with beautiful opulent chandeliers. Our server Kristen not only provided stellar service but was also very knowledgable about each and every dish. The following morning we were served by Leo, another great server, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We did not have an opportunity to use the pool but it was very inviting and I loved the Italian coastal vibe. Hotel Bardo exudes refined luxury without being pretentious. We look forward to returning again.
