Mansion on Forsyth Park

Great stay overall! The hotel was beautiful, the staff were very kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. It is a little farther from downtown/riverside street, but still within walking distance (around 25 minutes). The only drawback was the limited operating hours of the swimming pool, which may be a constraint for business travelers with tight schedules. However, if you have enough time to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities, it should not be an issue.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 19th anniversary here. I have always wanted to visit Savannah and learned of Hotel Bardo through a website. The hotel is charming; the staff was accommodating and professional. We didn't get a "friendly vibe" at the places we went to in Savannah, and Bardo was consistent with that vibe check. I would come back again but with my own "vibe tribe", and that would make the experience absolutely amazing.

This is a beautiful hotel and it's located in a great area. Hands down, we will return. There are so many things to do in Savannah and the hotel is located in a good location to walk or bike to everything.

Do not stay here! Or, go ahead and spend all of your money and then find out why. I have never been treated as “less than” by a place that charges $484/night!

Overall, a nice stay. Housekeeping, pool attendants, front desk personnel and Green room barmen were all 5-star. Excellent room. Restaurant staff need training. If you are used to 5-star dining you will be disappointed. But, restaurants and dining excepted, overall it was a good stay.
