Valley Ho gets 4+ stars from me. The only downgrade is the excessively loud music @ the “Oh” pool. There is no need for music so loud that the speakers distort. Other than that, this is a great, funky & fun hotel that is worth a try. The food at their Zuzu restaurant is great! Highly recommended.

The room was fine and the conference food and event was good. I was out of country for a few weeks and requested my folio on my return. I was surprised to see a charge for room damage on my folio, I contacted Valley Ho and they stated that a chair had been damaged during my stay. I contacted the Director of Rooms and the GM and Accounting for a call back which I did receive towards the end of the day. My dog was supposed to come with me as well as my wife however due to sickness both did not come. I was given a pet room because that was what I originally requested, and the room was sufficient for the stay. I have been in the hotel industry for over 20 years and would have been responsible for any and all damage that would have occurred. It was just myself staying in the room and I never touched the chair that they assumed I damaged. Freddy, Director of Rooms, made the call to me, and I explained that I never sat on or used the chair only the pool and the bed. I also explained that the dog and my wife did not come as she was sick and stayed at home with the dog. Freddy stated that they needed to do their due diligence to reverse the charge, $588 for the chair. I did state that I wanted before and after pictures of the chair and emphasized that I did not ever use the chair for any reason as I was in a conference all day and activities at night. The only thing that bothered me about the conversation was the attitude that was given as to the we have three people go through the room after every checkout and it wasn't there when you checked in. I then stated that maybe your team could have made an error and then he stated that would never happen. They did their due diligence and reversed the charge, but it felt like work to get there. I did receive a picture of the damaged chair with the small rip in the chair but never the before picture. I stated that I never needed to take pictures of furniture and the room before and maybe I should when dealing with smaller boutique hotels.

Love this hotel :) i have already referred them to folks. Great people and great food. If you do not want to do stairs, make sure to get patio level room. But they have folks to help with bags anyway. So the 2nd level is nice. Walkable to downtown and local places.

This is a beautiful hotel, my room was amazing and the staff truly went above and beyond! Would 100% stay there again for business or pleasure!

We were "upgraded" to a room that ended up being directly beside an area an event was going on. A very loud live auction was going on until late. It sounded like someone was screaming in a microphone for over 2 hours. No hot water in the vanity sink and room smelled.
