My husband loves this hotel. Think Oceans Eleven Cool. The hotel interiors, pool and garden are well maintained. We stayed in the tower and our room was very large and had a balcony over looking the pool. The hotel is lively with people enjoying themselves at the bar, restaurant and pool. The first night we slept well. The second night a group came in late in an adjacent room and made a bunch of noise keeping me awake. I called the front desk and they sent someone up to warn them. They quieted down for a short time and then started up again. After a half an hour I called the front desk and they sent a guard and the noise stopped for the rest of the night. In retrospect I should have called right away the first time they made noise and right away again when they started up again. I think the hotel knows how to handle noisy guests, you just need to let them know.

When we arrived at the Hotel Valley Ho, we were well greeted by staff and helped with our luggage to reception. The first night we were assigned to a high floor room that we requested. Little did we know that this particular room was over the air-conditoning, kitchen and laundry. Because my wife sleeps with the balcony door open, we had little sleep. Avoid the back of the hotel at all costs! The next day we requested a change to the other side and had a lovely room overlooking the pool. The bar and restaurant were both very good and we enjoyed having breakfast and lunch outside on the terrace. The last two nights were enjoyable and we slept well.

From the moment you see the hotel in the distance you'll know you are taking a journey back to the 50s, in a good way. HVH did not disappoint. From the warm greeting by the doorman, smooth check-in, light lunch on the outdoor patio, to the immaculately appointed suite with all the amenities you could want our time at HVH was too short. Overflowing with authentic architecture and design features if you close your eyes you can see the Chairman of the Board (Frank Sinatra) sitting by the pool.

Absolutely love this place. The restaurant, bar, pool area and the rooms are all first cabin and to top it all off the Hotel is a very short walking distance from great restaurants, shops and art galleries. My favorite hotel, bar none.

My girlfriend, along with another couple, spent last weekend at Hotel Valley Ho. We chose it because it seemed like a fun place to hang out and chill by the pool, without all the chaos of the W Hotel. Up arrival, we checked into our two bedroom suite without any issue, and decided to order a little late night room service. The food showed up quickly, but there was a shard of glass in the burger, which was surprising to say the least. I spoke with Austin at the front desk to let him know what happened right away. The next morning I spoke with Tim, the manager, to let him know as well. I was happy to hear that he was aware of the situation, and was taking steps to determine the root cause. After that hiccup, the rest of the stay was mostly spent poolside. The pool staff was awesome, especially Josh and Kate, and the cabana was worth the rental. My only complaint was the DJ they brought in. I think I would have preferred to let Pandora DJ. Overall, Hotel Valley Ho was exactly what we were looking for, and somewhere I'll definitely stay again.
