This was my second stay at Hotel Valley Ho (first in 2019 and then in 2025), and both experiences were top notch. My husband and I keep saying that if every trip felt like this one, we would never want to come home. Everything about this hotel hits just right . From the staff that are friendly and attentive, to the service that is flawless, and the vibe perfectly balances regional charm with modern luxury. Let’s talk details, because it is the little things that set Hotel Valley Ho apart: The bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner smell so good that I actually looked up how to order them when I got home. It is a smell that will no doubt invoke fond, specific memories forever. The avocado toast might be the best I’ve ever had. It is simple, fresh, and beautifully plated. It is one of those breakfasts you still talk about weeks later. And I have tried to find/make something similar and there is nothing that rivals. And the Waymo experience? Such a fun and futuristic way to explore Scottsdale! And I truly did feel safe the whole time. Between that and the hotel’s unbeatable location, it is the perfect home base for exploring the area. I have also attended business gatherings here, and their facilities make hosting effortless. Every detail is thought through, from tech setup to catering, and that same signature hospitality shines through in every setting. I have traveled a lot, and it is rare to find a hotel that gets everything right, but Hotel Valley Ho really does. Until next time, Scottsdale. I am already planning my third stay!

Upgraded to a suite. Great view of the pool and the gardens surrounding the whole property. Bar staff extremely friendly and they make an outstanding cappuccino; highly recommend!

I discovered this hotel by "accident" when planning a recent trip to Scottsdale - I tend to gravitate to the larger chains and was concerned that this would be more like a motel experience, rather than a resort stay. So glad I followed through! Everything thing was outstanding, from the time I arrived and dropped my car at valet to checkout. First off, the staff makes this place special. I'd mention specific names, but afraid I would leave someone out! But everyone from the guys at valet, to front desk, to housekeeping, pool staff made it a great stay. A special shout out to the ZuZu staff though (Seta, Matt, Chad et. al)! I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning and enjoyed talking with you all. Upgraded to a room in the tower but would not hesitate to book a room in the "wings" for a future stay. My tower room had a great view of Camelback Mountain. Room itself was clean, in very good condition and seemed like it had been updated recently. Loved the pool each day. It was a nice mix of time to relax + a bit of music. I was initially concerned that the weekend pool party would be too over the top but was actually just the right amount of fun. Pool staff was amazing and did everything that they could to help guests enjoy the beautiful pool area. Many restaurants, bars, shopping and art galleries within easy walking distance. No car really needed, unless you plan to do some hiking or visit sites outside of Scottsdale (which I did). Definitely putting Scottsdale and HVH in my regular vacation rotation!

It felt like a motel to us rather than an hotel. Rooms are very small with no elevators from 1st floor to second floor, unless you “upgrade” to the tower. This is terrible. What about those who are challenged or elderly who do not want to pay more to be in the towers? Rooms are so small for a double that each side of the bed is backed to the wall with about 1 feet of space so it’s difficult to get out on that side. The hotel makes me think that the Rat Pack is performing with the Brady Kids along with the Partridge Family. They have the fridge stocked with purchase items that there is no room to use. The pool area is dated. Bar area and ZuZu restaurant are the only plus to this place. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. The waitstaff is great too

We hosted our daughter’s wedding at the hotel. It was a great experience! Our guests loved the accommodations…everyone raved about the rooms, views, food, and staff!
