The Hotel Valley Ho is in my top 5 hotels on earth. I travel a ton for work and stay in all sorts of big brand and boutique hotels. Occasionally I'll do an AirBnB for group/team events. I've stayed at the "Ho" possibly 15 times over the past 10 years. Each time, the experience of staying there reminds me of what a special place it is. Top to bottom, it's got the cool factor (minus any smugness) locked in and always seems to provide me with exactly what I'm looking for in a Hotel. I wish there was a Valley Ho in every city I go to - but then again - maybe it wouldn't be so special.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a great time. I would highly recommend the suite with the terrace if you love being outdoors. It had a table, chaise lounges and a sectional to relax on and enjoy. The OH pool had a fun vibe and a great bar. Staff all through the hotel were friendly. My husband travels frequently for business and commented on how clean the room was. The lighting in the bathroom was amazing for putting on makeup and there was a magnifying makeup mirror as well. My only complaint was the glass door to the bathroom! Why would you have a glass door for a bathroom?

The location is perfect with many walkable restaurants and shops. Honestly, we stayed resort-bound for this visit, but I know that the area is great. It's easy to find free on-street parking, and the valets weren't snotty about our self-park. The Terrace Suite is always great, and the summer rate made it a no-brainer to upgrade to the two-room suite. It was very loud from the tree-trimming during most of the day, and we did have an unannounced man who climbed up to our patio on a ladder and walked around outside our door. It would have been good to know that would be a thing, but it was clearly a one-off thing. Everyone provides unpretentious service with smiles, and we appreciate the dinners, drinks, and breakfasts at Zuzu. Love the Ho! We will be back.

An excellent mid-century property with all the history and vibe you'd expect. A great place to get away and relax. Excellent staff from top to bottom.

My wife and I stayed the weekend with our 1.5 year old daughter in a terrace suite. This is one of our favorite hotels we have stayed in. Our daughter loved walking around the terrace people and dog watching near the DJ pool area. The decor of the hotel is very cool and different from any hotel we have stayed at. Guest services was very accommodative when we asked for a refrigerator for the room and a pack in play. They had the best pool for a young toddler. It was circular, about 1 foot deep and a fountain in the middle. My wife and I love the food in the old town area and our daughter had a great time as well. We will definitely be back in the future!
