We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Valley Ho, but one of the absolute highlights was the phenomenal hospitality we received from Eddie at the restaurant. What impressed us most was that Eddie’s level of service clearly wasn’t something reserved just for our table. We noticed him greeting guests at surrounding tables whom he remembered from previous visits—recalling their usual orders, asking about specific things they had discussed before, and genuinely following up with them. It was so refreshing to see someone take that much pride in making guests feel remembered and cared for. He did the exact same for us throughout our stay. It was my birthday, and Eddie went completely out of his way to have the staff sign a birthday card for me, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. When we saw him again the following day, he remembered my birthday and made a point to ask how it went and how we were enjoying our stay. He even remembered the smallest details from our previous meal, including exactly how I preferred my egg whites and which berries I liked. Those may seem like little things, but that level of attention and genuine care is what turns good service into truly memorable hospitality. Eddie is an incredible representation of Hotel Valley Ho and the level of service your brand strives to provide. He deserves to be recognized and praised for the experience he creates for his guests. We will absolutely remember him when we think about our stay in Scottsdale!

Beautiful, aesthetic, delightful spot for an Arizona getaway. We stayed during the week in the heat of the August summer when tourism is low. At times it felt like we had the place to ourself, which was honestly lovely. But would be a fabulous place to stay for a lively atmosphere during busy times as well. Either way there are numerous beautiful areas to carve out your own oasis if desired. Walking distance to old town Scottsdale and fabulous restaurants was clutch. We’ll be back :)

There would have been some lovely things to say about this hotel, but they were all drowned out by the relentless and inescapable loud music in every public space (lobby, restaurant, pool, etc.) that made the whole experience a nightmare. I won't stay here again.

It was good but the parking was an issue. When I called and talked to the hotel before making a reservation I asked about parking. I am recently handicapped And wanted to make sure I had a handicap parking spot close to the room. I was told it was $28 to valet and no charge for regular parking and there was handicapped accessible parking . None of that was true. We arrived after a very dangerous drive through a monsoon I was told that valet was full and parking was $28 a day and there was no handicapped parking. I asked Valet to assist me so I would not have an issue walking where it was pouring rain after just having had major ankle surgery. They couldn’t assist me. I finally found my room but was not able to park as it found out that In addition I had to get a special permit which was not provided at check in. So I had to drive back and get the permit. There was absolutely NO handicapped parking. And I was charged $28 plus tax each day. This is was not acceptable nor accessible. In addition, right outside my door the sidewalk was hosed down making it very slippery and no signs were posted about wet pavement. Finally when we left and were headed to the airport were detained because the parking gate stopped working The lack of both handicapped parking, a valet who wouldn’t assist us really had a negative impact. It was hard enough being in pain and non ambulatory. But to be so inattentive to a handicapped hardship significantly affected my rating of this hotel. I mentioned it on several Occasions at the front desk and received No response. Because I am an Amex cardholder of 40 plus years I value my travel perks booking through them. I am sharing this same Feedback with them and giving the hotel a low score Because of it.
