Okay stay, good location, front desk folies
Not thrilled calling into front desk. Got a fast busy calling front desk from room phone. Then when they did not email my bill after several days, I called in and the "automated" bill send was not working and had to get Lucas to send it to himself and then send me the bill from his account. Automation not so good. THEN I see a mini bar charge which I did not touch and got the runaround to get it removed.

Valley Ho is awesome
Second time staying at the Valley Ho and loved it . Amazing room, great , well maintained and gorgeous property with tons of flowers and birds, great restaurant and bar. We were probably the oldest couple staying at the hotel (mid-late 60s) but didn’t feel out of place . Gym is nice, pool has a “scene” with a bar and special sofas and cabanas to rent, and the property is conveniently located right by Old Town Scottsdale. I didn’t care for the hip music playing at the pool (would have preferred a more diverse mix of sorts), but that’s my own issue.and maybe reflects my personal music tastes. Anyway, would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly.

Pretty good, but needs some fine tuning!
Hotel is well located, and staff are friendly and helpful. The OH pool is a giant party scene, and if that's what you're looking for, you've found your hotel! Rooms and hotel feel a bit tired and dated, but the lovely staff helps to make up for the things that are lacking.

Came on a girls’ trip with a friend and our daughters (14 years old). Loved this hotel. Food exceptional. Pool was great. Service excellent. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location and walk ability was perfect. Will be back.

Check your bills. Pool liquor charge and we are not drinkers.
Check your bills! Charged for liquor at the party pool we were never at. People at the Ohasis pool just giving room numbers out and servers not requiring any kind of proof of room. Resort is nice but needs better checks and balances with people just coming in and using facilities for the day.
