Reviews for Hotel Valley Ho

Hotel Valley Ho is an Oasis in the desert

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I just can't love this hotel enough. Everything about this place is wonderful. The rooms make me feel like I am being pampered and on vacation with their fancy soaps. The staff are all helpful and happy. The bell desk gives you free water every day when you jump in your car. They have a tour that you can take to learn about the history of the hotel. There is a pool for working out that has two lanes and a huge pool for relaxing with a full bar and food service. The grounds are lovely to walk around during the mornings or at night. The food is great in the restaurant/bar - in fact the food is so good that locals come in to eat and drink!!! Locals come to Hotel Valley Ho to eat "hotel food" I think you are picking up that this is not a "hotel" or "resort" - it is an oasis

Staff was delightful. The hotel made and delivered me a delicious birthday cake. The food, cocktails and service was excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.

Tiki Arizona at the Valley Ho

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Went to Tiki Arizona hosted by the Valley Ho this past weekend. Been looking forward to it and it exceeded my wildest hopes. What a fantastic 3 days at a wonderful venue. Nay, the day manger at ZuZu, and her staff went out of their way to make sure my wife and I had an experience we’ll never forget. Already have the dates marked for next year. Thank you to everyone at the Valley Ho

Great Retro Venue - highly recommend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We spent 5 nights at the Valley Ho for Arizona Tiki Oasis 2024. This is a beautiful and well preserved throwback to mid-century modern architecture that reached the Zenith of popularity in the 1950’s. This is a splurge destination as the rooms and food are on the expensive side but we so thoroughly enjoyed our time there that we’ll very likely be back next year. The rooms were well appointed and service and staff were uniformly outstanding. We would have appreciated having a microwave but since they didn’t exist in the 1950’s I guess we can chalk it up to a historically accurate retro ambience. They are only a short walk from old Scottsdale where lots of food and entertainment choices are available, and also near the Poisoned Pen, widely considered to be one of the finest independent bookstores in the US.
