We love the Omni and have been several times- the resort has everything you could want or need! This trip there was a large company retreat thar took over the resort and changed the vibe from oasis/relaxation to party/crowded which was very unfortunate. My husband were anticipating a romantic weekend away and it felt more like college spring break :(

Property has amazing potential but has not been well maintained for years and common areas are not always kept clean (trash and service items can remain for days; hot tub is frequently broken, tiles are missing, etc.) Beware - management has decided to sell day passes for the pool to non-guests to increase revenue, at the expense of the guests who pay a $45 resort charge - they even sell pool passes when at 100% capacity - at peak times you may not be able to get chairs and they may be out of towels - experienced one fight between people at pool - staff was not equipped to deal with The hotel was not truly "renovated" last year - yes they painted and changed out some furniture and artwork, but plumbing fixtures were not replaced and there are still loose/leaky faucets, slow drains, running toilets, issues with carpet, etc.) Managers you will come in contact with possess subpar customer service awareness, communication, and actions, which will be frustrating to many for an Omni hotel - and loyalty members do not get much recognition at this property and are frequently denied benefits citing the "as available" exclusion Property needs Omni executives or their family/friends to come stay at the property undercover and then straighten things out

My brother and I booked a one night stay here on our way back to the East Coast. That was not nearly enough. This resort is INCREDIBLE. I am already planning my next visit. Would be a great spot to come as a couple, or group of friends. The whole property is meant to mimic The Andalucia region of Spain, and for anybody who has been, it does an excellent job of recreating it in an elegant way. I really did feel like I was in Europe. The room was spacious, complete with a balcony facing Camelback Mountain. Bathroom is huge, and it was a nice touch to be able to turn on the "speaker" and have the TV's sound play through the bathroom. We hung by the adults-only pool, but there is another kid-friendly one if you are traveling as a family. The resort definitely felt like it catered more towards adults than children, but I can't speak on that fully. Pool service was prompt and the menu was pretty robust for "pool food." There's also a nice fire pit with rocking chairs to sit around and admire Arizona's red rocks. Seemed like there were daily activities - guided hikes, yoga, etc. Definitely a place you could come and stay on property the whole time if you wanted. Will definitely be returning.
