Stayed here with my daughter in June on the way to/from her new student orientation at U of A and then again when we moved her in to the dorm in August. Beautiful rooms, delicious food, can't get near enough of the pool and it's view of Camelback...and don't get me started on the wonderful spa!

Cant comment on the rooms, but the parking was free this week (always?), the conference rooms were nice, wifi worked well & food was delicious and served efficiently. Enjoyed the snacks at break too. Very pleasant staff and BEAUTIFUL grounds. If we were any closer to CamelBack, we would be ON the camel’s back.

We just returned from our fifth visit to the Montelucia and are already planning to return in a couple of months. Although there are many other highly rated resorts in the Phoenix area, we just don't feel the need to fix what isn't broken. The resort is beyond beautiful, perfectly maintained and the food is the best of any resort/hotel we have ever had. The spa is, without a doubt, the best spa experience we have ever had. The resort is a quick, 15 minute drive from the airport and we never leave the resort...no need! Even though we only stay for three or four days we leave feeling completely pampered and totally relaxed.

Pros Most of the staff is very friendly (with the exception of my Centro experience below). I enjoyed chatting with "Grandpa Frank" at breakfast, and with the ladies at Crave. The fitness room is amazing! It's better than the anytime fitness in my home town. The pools are heated which was perfect since the weather was in the high 60s/low 70s. I realize that the heated pools aren't needed year-around, but it was a nice surprise for the winter. The grounds are beautiful. Cons Service at Centro was very poor. The first day I sat on the patio and service was slow. I decided to give it a try again the next day and was completely ignored. I made eye contact and smiled at the server when she came out and then watched as she checked the tables on either side of me and never stopped at mine. I left and made the manager aware, so hopefully they will address any training issues. Room and equipment is dated and in need of repair. Phone didn't work, makeup mirror had a loose wire that caused it to flicker. Coffee maker sounded like it was dying. Bed sagged in the middle. Most of the items are minor, but they all started to add up to make the experience feel just so-so. I left the "Do not disturb" sign on the door while I tried to nap, but was awaken when housekeeping called to tell me they wouldn't be cleaning my room since I had the sign out. Umm... that was the whole point, and calling me was disturbing me. Overall, compared to other luxury resorts, this one is just okay, and I wouldn't recommend coming back here.

I'm a total hotel snob but the Omni was a great getaway. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels. Lunch and Dinner meals were very good. The spa staff were well trained and the spa itself was clean and had everything I wanted with a quiet outdoor pool that served food and beverages.
