Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia

I checked into this hotel looking for a bed and some quiet, and instead I found my new spiritual home—mostly thanks to the bar. The hotel itself was spotless, the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud that went to private school, and check-in was so smooth I barely had time to dread the keycard demagnetizing near my phone (it never did, a minor miracle). The real star of the show, though, was the bartender, Alan. I walked up after a brutally long travel day wearing the universal facial expression for "please don't make me make decisions," and he read the room immediately. No agonizing over an eight-page artisanal cocktail menu featuring smoked pinecones, Alan just asked two brief questions, nodded like an ER doctor assessing a patient, and handed me the exact drink I needed. By round two, Alan was casually managing a packed counter, dispensing solid local food advice, and pouring drinks with the precision of a chemist who actually wants people to have fun. It’s rare to find hospitality that feels this effortless without feeling rehearsed.

Nice hotel and in a good location in Paradise Valley. Staff was very nice and the restaurants were good (breakfast was great). The rooms are a bit dated and worn, but we still had a nice stay and it didn’t detract from us having a nice time at the resort. We did yoga each morning and that was a really nice way to start the day. We appreciated the view of Camelback Mountain from our room. Super nice valet staff and front desk staff.

This is our first stay and it has been fabulous. All the staff is so friendly and helpful. Every day we had breakfast in the Crave coffee shop. They offer regular milk as well as soy, almond, oat and coconut. Chia seed parfaits with berries, nuts and coconut. The Crave staff are such hard workers getting orders out very quickly with a smile. Javon, Jameelah and Caylen were a pleasure to see every morning as well as our occasional happy hour gelato splurge.

Carlos truly made my birthday THE BEST. We got a cabana and had the best time ever. His service was amazing. He was so kind, so quick and so attentive to us all to help us have the best day ever. Thank you for the great service and for helping us have the best day!!!!!
