This Resort was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, hospitality and friendliness abound. The A/C in the room worked very well in the 115-120 degree heat. Plus, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Will definitely stay here again!!

We had an event held there and it was great! Service was impeccable! They went beyond our expectations. We had no glitches nothing to worry about. Everything was set on time, employees were so nice and very professional.

I stayed here in the middle of a serious heatwave, it was 118F when I arrived. The staff were all extremely courteous and friendly without being obsequious. They virtually insisted on driving me to my room so that I didn't get burned or overheated along the way. Despite the ridiculous outdoor temperature my room was at a very pleasant 68F when I walked in. What a huge relief. First stop was the bathroom, pretty good quality for an upscale house, unexpected for a hotel. This is one of only three hotels I have stayed in that had a bath deep enough for a 6'3" man to soak in. The separate shower was a nicely tiled walk in ... well I hesitate to call it a cubicle. It was bigger than some kitchens. The room included an exceptionally comfortable king sized bed, I want that bed. It was both soft and supportive, quite possibly the best bed I have ever slept on. The pillows were also very comfortable, and there were plenty of them. The bedding was good quality and well suited to the room temperature. I felt guilty turning the temperature down to 65F so I could sleep well. Outside there was patio furniture, but it was not suitable weather for me to be outside, so I didn't get to use it. Unlike most hotel rooms there was no shortage of sockets, everywhere I wanted to plug something in, chargers and the coffee machine, there were sockets. The two seat couch was comfortable and there was an ottoman to put my feet on. I was never aware of any external noise. I have stayed in rooms 606 and 722 and both were quiet. No plumbing noises, no sound from fellow guests. Breakfast in the Prado restaurant was excellent. These days all I usually see in even fairly decent hotels is a standard plastic breakfast of reconstituted eggs, lowest grade sausage and bacon, soft and nasty 'home fries', etc. The Prado is a proper restaurant, I had the eggs Benedict and it was very good. I'd move in tonight if I was staying in Scottsdale for longer.

We stayed here two nights for our anniversary in early June and loved it. We stayed in front of the Oasis adult only pool and loved being to walk out of our room, onto our balcony and straight to the pool. The pool was fun, attentive staff and the steak tacos were actually really good! The water was not as cool as I would have liked, but it was still refreshing. A lot better than it probably would have been at the end of July when it probably feels like bath water. Our room was great! We enjoyed the walk in shower with dual shower heads and my wife really enjoyed the bathtub after she got some bath bombs from Lush at Scottsdale mall. The bed was really comfortable as well as the pillows. It was nice to sleep in and not getting woken up at 6 am by our 3 year old. We wished we could have gotten massages, but they were booked at the times we were available, so I recommend calling before your stay to reserve your massage if you plan on getting one at their Joya Spa. The two things I did not like was the way the room was scented. I am not sure if that is a smell they intentionally put in the rooms or if it was from the previous occupants, but it was a little too flowery for my liking. The other thing was the WiFi was really slow and I had really bad reception on my iPhone so it was hard to do anything on my phone and had a hard time getting emails i needed from work while I was there. There was a charge to upgrade to a higher speed of internet which wasn't worth it to me. The hotel grounds were really nice with beautiful Camelback mountain in the background. We strolled around one night and enjoyed some time in the hammocks they have around the property. Valet was courteous, but it took a while to get our car. I recommend just self parking in the underground parking, its about the same distance from our room to the parking garage as to the valet, then we didn't have to wait to get our car. We ate breakfast there one morning which was good and felt nice with the doors open in the morning. We didn't want to leave and my wife commented that she couldn't wait to come back next year. The other hotel nearby is the Sanctuary. We stayed there a few years ago and definitely enjoyed the Omni more.
