I cannot recommend this resort more for a romantic couples trip. My husband and I are checking out today and stayed three nights. The resort property is gorgeous and it was basically a ghost town Monday -Wednesday. It felt like our own Spanish villa. We have a Camelback view room on the second floor building 11 and I think it’s the best spot on the property. Yes, it’s a bit of a walk to the main pool but it can’t be beat for comfort, privacy and the best balcony with a spectacular view of the mountains. The best part has been the food. Prada is in my top 5 restaurants of all time and I have eaten at all sorts of fine dining in my 45 years. We ate the entire tapas menu at the bar between Monday and Tuesday night for dinner (split 4 items each night) and each and every one was mind blowing. Not even hyperbole. Unreal level of good. Even the Cesar salad was amazing. We had dinner in the main restaurant and had the Gambas and the seafood Paella. I can’t even describe it. It was like a religious experience. And the desserts! We had breakfast too yesterday even though we were not planning on it just because the tapas had been so good we thought well breakfast must also be spectacular and that was a life choice I do not regret- get the French toast trust me. We also got a cabana at Kabash pool (the one in the corner on the main pool level) and that was so lovely. They have a ceiling mister cooler that was so great and we watched the soccer game on our tv and had the fruit plate and the sangria and chips and guacamole- all excellent. Service everywhere from valet to check in to pool was top notch the entire time. Amazing staff at Prada. We skipped the spa and never used the other pool. So if you want literally the best time ever, come here Monday - Thursday when it’s empty and plan to just chill. Sure it’s hot but it it’s a good hot in and out of the pool and into your cabana and there’s like maybe 10 other people there with you. Totally recommend!!
