This was the worst stay that I have ever experienced. I cannot believe for such an upscale and amazing property they do not take of their guests. I wish I would have packed up and left. It was so disappointing, unfortunate and just simply wrong in so many ways.

We stayed here for 1 night as a little getaway and had expected the usual offerings of a 5 star hotel as it is stated to be. However, we found that the service was at a level of a 3 star hotel. Pool service was extremely slow and almost non existent, restaurant service at Prado was equally bad and we found ourselves trying to find service staff to order and or pay our bills and they had disappeared. Disappointed.

The Omni is a nice 35 acre resort. Our room was spacious- gorgeous bathroom - with a lovely large balcony over looking the adult pool which was quiet and low-key atmosphere. The resort has an older feel. The staff were very helpful and ready to assist. We booked on Priceline and received a $100 a night discount. There was a $32 per day per room resort fee which I didn't see disclosed anywhere until checkout and they refused to waive. I did join the Omni rewards program in order to gain free wifi... one charge was still on our bill upon checkout ... the staff removes the $15 fee promptly. All in all, I would stay there again.

Not happy, prob won't be back. Understaffed. Shortage of pool staff. Spa was so loud and noisy. Pool area on Friday and Saturday was so crowded and area was dirty. No towels wedding being held there, and staff catered to them. They were loud and drunk and obnoxious.

I attended a "destination wedding" in March for my niece at the Omni resort in Paradise Valley AZ, which is in the Phoenix area. If you hate being pampered. Hate great service. Hate having your car door opened upon your return and greeted as Mr. (and your surname). If you can't stand bathrooms that are as big as some bedrooms. If you despise showers that have three shower heads that are fully adjustable, and on or off as you like. If you don't like great buffet breakfasts. Choose not to sleep on the latest in mattress comfort. If you want nothing to do with having an expert massage, including hot coals. If you hate great mountain scenery. If you wish not to get out of the cold weather during winter months, and into great Arizona weather. Then this is NOT the place for you. Let me tell you...They make you feel like a king. Expect to pay for it though. Also expect to have difficulty with reservations if you don't plan way ahead. While we did get the reduced wedding group rate, it still was quite expensive. But we had a great time. We stayed for five days. We partook of the amenities and also traveled about, shopping and mountain looking, including Sedona. I plan to return.
