Lovely resort! I have been coming here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. Breakfast at Prado is a lovely start to the day and you MUST get services at Joya Spa.. And climb Camelback Mountain if you are brave enough!

Don't eat at Prada --slow, expensive, small portions Centro service slow, food good, nice firepits outside. Crave great for coffee, breakfast The grounds and the pool are great-very beautiful. Rental bikes are clunkers

My children gave me a gift certificate to stay here while on vacation in Arizona and it went way beyond my expectations. The entire staff everywhere was excellent. Spent a lot of time at the pool , staff there also excellent

the room was wonderful, great bathroom and view of camel back. We had a grass lawn off the deck and it was perfect for relaxation. The staff was the BEST. I left saying to myself that I would like to go their customer service class, as I would love to share their ideas. The grounds crew stopped and asked my sister if she wanted a ride. All of the staff was super.

I stayed at this resort with a number of friends who arranged the stay through a website like Priceline or Hotwire. It was a golf trip with 12 guys. The rooms reserved were for 2 queen beds for two men per room. Each room was one king bed. One guy had to sleep on a roll-away.Furthermore, when I drove up to the hotel they valeted my rental car. I was not told that it would be at a cost of $22/day. If that was not enough, when I checked out, there was a charge of $29/day for some activity fee. It gets better...when I arrived there, I told the front desk that I rented golf clubs that were delivered there by a golf club rental agency that deals with this resort all the time. I asked them for the clubs 3 hours prior to the time I needed to leave to golf. They kept on telling me they couldn't find the clubs and became indignent when I asked them how hard could it be to find the clubs from a rental company that deals with them all the time. Finally, I telephoned the rental company and asked them to speak with the front desk person. When they did, the front desk person admitted that "there must be a misunderstanding." Apparently, the clubs were in the bellman's room about 20 feet away from where we were. So tell me, should the guy at the front desk know that is where he should have looked for the clubs when the agency deals with them regularly? Okay, I get it, why stay at a place like this on a reduced rate through a third party website. Well guess what, if you offer your rooms for a reduced rate through a third party website, you should be transparent and employ people who have a clue how the place operates. Never again would I stay at this place. They treated us like second class citizens. If you have the $400-$500/night to stay there, knock yourself out, but if you want a "deal" to stay there, don't bother, unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen.
