the room was wonderful, great bathroom and view of camel back. We had a grass lawn off the deck and it was perfect for relaxation. The staff was the BEST. I left saying to myself that I would like to go their customer service class, as I would love to share their ideas. The grounds crew stopped and asked my sister if she wanted a ride. All of the staff was super.

I stayed at this resort with a number of friends who arranged the stay through a website like Priceline or Hotwire. It was a golf trip with 12 guys. The rooms reserved were for 2 queen beds for two men per room. Each room was one king bed. One guy had to sleep on a roll-away.Furthermore, when I drove up to the hotel they valeted my rental car. I was not told that it would be at a cost of $22/day. If that was not enough, when I checked out, there was a charge of $29/day for some activity fee. It gets better...when I arrived there, I told the front desk that I rented golf clubs that were delivered there by a golf club rental agency that deals with this resort all the time. I asked them for the clubs 3 hours prior to the time I needed to leave to golf. They kept on telling me they couldn't find the clubs and became indignent when I asked them how hard could it be to find the clubs from a rental company that deals with them all the time. Finally, I telephoned the rental company and asked them to speak with the front desk person. When they did, the front desk person admitted that "there must be a misunderstanding." Apparently, the clubs were in the bellman's room about 20 feet away from where we were. So tell me, should the guy at the front desk know that is where he should have looked for the clubs when the agency deals with them regularly? Okay, I get it, why stay at a place like this on a reduced rate through a third party website. Well guess what, if you offer your rooms for a reduced rate through a third party website, you should be transparent and employ people who have a clue how the place operates. Never again would I stay at this place. They treated us like second class citizens. If you have the $400-$500/night to stay there, knock yourself out, but if you want a "deal" to stay there, don't bother, unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen.

Spent one evening at the resort. Very nice. Well kept property, very nice room (bldg 4, room 426). Not the best view but a nice room no less. The bathroom is especially nice. I didn't dine at the resorts restaurants but utilized room service (I had the wings and a club sandwiche w/fries). Very expensive. Ordered a bottle of wine. They charge a delivery fee.... A $10 bottle of Chardonnay was over $50. The room had a Frig but it's stocked w/the hotels over priced items. No room for your own items. I don't like the extraordinary mark up of every little thing and the options are limited. Nice place. The resort could use a lot more common areas with fire pits for guests to enjoy. The room I had didn't have any cell phone charger area. Most hotel have slot of outlets that allow you to use your cell phones cord. This place had none. The bed was super comfortable.

The Omni is a very typical Scottsdale resort. It is spread over a few acres with low rise units. The suites are very nice and clean. Like many resorts in Scottsdale, the resort has homes attached to the property. I arrived on a rare rainy day and getting to my suite was a very damp experience. I spent most of my time in conference rooms while I was there and they were nice, but a bit of a hike from my room. The food at the resort was fine, but nothing remarkable. The front desk staff on my arrival was less than welcoming, but the group on the way out was much better. I have stayed many times at the Fairmont in Scottsdale and the Omni does not stack up. My net take - nice place for a business meeting, but you can find much more interesting resorts in Scottsdale.

Great location and property. Absolute first class facility AND service. The employees are well trained and very friendly, to the point they remember your name coming and.going. The rooms.are spacious and very well appointed, with great views of Camelback.
