Seattle’s only over-water hotel: where rock’n’roll history meets Pacific Northwest luxury. The Edgewater Hotel is laden with a rich musical past and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains, Elliott Bay and the sparkling city. Consistently named one of the best hotels in Seattle, our unique location on Pier 67 means you’re just a short walk to everything you want to do in our evergreen city. Relax in luxurious waterfront or cityside accommodations knowing you’re doing the same as the Beatles, Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters once did. We’ll even loan you complimentary rental guitars, sheet music and record players to inspire you to fully experience life at The Edge.

Wonderful staff and excellent dining at the hotel’s 6/7 restaurant! Nicely appointed city view room but would probably pay the upgrade for the water view next time.. train runs by city view room side of hotel throughout the night so could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. The hvac fan in our room was rather noisy as well but may have only been an issue with that particular room...perfect location to get to all the things to do and see!

This hotel is beautiful. It is well decorated and very clean. The location is close but tucked away from the business of Seattle. The food in excellent and the staff is very nice. We will be back!

Very tired hotel with no dining room for breakfast. Halls are dark and depressing. Our upgrade included a room with a view of the docks. Do not stay here.

One of my favorite Seattle area hotels. Vintage almost log cabin style vibes. Gives off almost a dark and moody feel mixed with romance. Deep reds and dark woods. Artfully luxurious. Bathrooms have a nice spa style with classic finishes. Claw foot tubs (in some rooms) and luxury spa showers. Generally one of the higher priced properties in the area so if you’re going to spend the money make sure to get a room over the water. Staff was friendly and helpful. My third party booking site one of my stays didn’t pay so I was charged twice then when it was sorted out the hotel worked with them and it all worked out. My room category was upgraded free of charge on my most recent stay. The common areas overlook the water in a way that no other property can do in Seattle. On site restaurant provides direct over water views. Generally hard to find good deals as far as similar pricing goes to other hotels in the area. If all things were the same and I could find a way to make it more budget friendly I’d choose the Edgewater for most of my Seattle stays. 4 to 4.5 star property if you’re ready to ditch the tech and modern style for the Edgewater’s laid back relaxing vintage vibes.

Gorgeous views and warm, fireplace-equipped rooms — the setting delivers. The drawbacks: no weekday breakfast, limited alternatives nearby, an overpriced weekend breakfast service, and staff that lack the warmth you'd expect at this level.
