This is a special hotel on the waterfront with rock history. A blend of posh hotel with cozy cabin vibes, really unique! Very comfortable and clean rooms, we splurged on a water view room and it was fantastic. The restaurant is delicious! All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The holiday decorations were so impressive! It seems like people not staying at the hotel also come to the restaurant and lounge as well. It's a well run establishment and we left very pleased and satisfied.

"The hotel felt very run-down. The price is excessive considering how old the facilities are, and there is nothing standout about the property to justify such high rates."

Rooms are great, the over-water views are spectacular and the fireplaces make it cosy and warm. There is spacious desk space to work. The bathtub is a nice touch and is really deep. The reception and housekeepingstaff are well-attentive and helpful. My only negatives would be that service in the cafe and in the bar/restaurant can be slow. The queue for coffee in the morning is often long now, a few years ago it was not the case and often I am waiting 10+ minutes in the restaurant to even place my drink order.

Amazing hote with a ton of atmosphere. The Christmas lobby was fantastic. Even though it was the day after Christmas, I loved remaining in the Christmas spirit. The food and view from the restaurant second to none. If I get the opportunity to hang out in downtown Seattle, this would be my choice stay

We stayed here for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary on New Year’s Eve and a couple nights before and after. We got a water view room for ourselves and an accessible balcony room for my parents. They very much enjoyed their stay, as did we. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We honestly had zero complaints other than the toilet in the accessible room being extremely low.
