Wonderful stay!

Amazing stay. Ambiance is perfect. SixSeven restaurant one of the best I've dined in. Food was delicious. Fresh oysters, Bouillabaisse & steamed mussels were top notch. Friendly staff everywhere!

Great location, but urine on toilet seat, and front desk does not pick up the phone

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

Several yellow urine spots on toilet seat. Had clearly not been washed after the previous guest, who also appears to have been rather messy. Also the front desk does not appear to pick up the phone at all. I tried calling multiple times on my hotel phone over 1+ hour around 5-6pm in the evening, and never got to a person. Eventually I called the hotel's external number and had to leave a message for someone to ask the front desk to call me back (they still never did). I did meet a nice and friendly cleaning lady who ended up cleaning the mess of the previous guest. The hotel's location was excellent though, right on the water and next to the conference center. The facilities were dated but otherwise would be nice (with proper cleaning).

Fun, Comfortable, well-run hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 21 hours ago

We stayed in a king room. Well appointed with comfortable, attractive furniture in a somewhat kitschy northwest woodsy style. A modest in-room bar, a working gas fire place and a large balcony overlooking the harbor. Plenty of light, two sliding doors for access. The entire building sits, Venice-like, on a pier sticking out into the bay. Everything in the room worked, and everything was in excellent condition. The bed is among the best hotel beds I have ever slept in. Great, full sized pillows complete the luxurious experience. The room was on the fourth floor across from the central elevator but we never heard any noises in the hallway or from the equipment. Pets are allowed and we met several dogs in the hallway on our way in and out but other than that you would not have known that they were there. My only complaint was with the water pressure and the bathroom layout. There is a regulator so although there’s plenty of hot water, there isn’t much force. I was able to shower and able to rinse, but it was weak. I understand the need for conservation, so it’s a minor concern. The bathroom closes with two sliding pocket doors that have translucent panes, so if you need to turn the light on at night, you may wake your roommate. But the bathroom is spacious and the counter has lots of room for dop kits and toiletries. Towels were like new and ample. Front desk was knowledgeable and responsive. The lobby and bar/ lounge are very comfortable and have great views. We did not dine in the restaurant, but the bar staff is excellent and the bartender makes great cocktails. And even though John, Paul, George, and Ringo fished from their room while staying here, that is no longer permitted!

Paid for an ocean view balcony, woke up to a cruise ship view

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Booked an ~ $900/night overwater balcony room at the hotel for a special anniversary with my wife. I communicated this in my reservation and at check-in in. I also booked with Amex Platinum which was supposed to result in an upgrade/better room. The goal was to have dinner out the night before and have breakfast on the balcony from room service. We were assured we had a nice room but got an asphalt dock view, and a cruise ship obstructing the view and people looking at us and waving while on the balcony. My wife didn’t want to eat out there in her robe so the room provided ruined that plan. Room service itself was great but they forgot both milk for the tea and the condiments - by the time they returned both were cold.
