Special Place to Stay

Wonderful spot to stay for a special experience. Luxurious and playful. Excellent service and accoutrement, but definitely a luxury price point.

Great Location

If you want a view and be close to all the things the Edgewater is perfect. From our room we could see all the happenings going on in the harbor, boardwalk, including the Ferris Wheel. The lights are pretty at night. We loved keeping the windows open to hear the seagulls and to look down at the jellyfish. The boardwalk is an easy walk south. If you walk north there’s a beautiful short walk to Myrtle Edwards Park. Highly recommend!

Not quite the hype

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I felt that the hotel was very overpriced for what it was. What I consider to be basics in a 4-star hotel, this one lacked. The room was nice, the beds very comfortable, but if you want water in the lobby or to take some coffee from your room to go in the am, you won't find that. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but room service trays littered the hallway and remained for many hours.

Beautiful location- disappointing service and room

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Let me start of by listing the things we liked about the property: The hotel itself is beautiful. The view when you walk in is gorgeous. The location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close and convenient. We walked along the new ocean front trail and really enjoyed it. The hotel restaurant Six Seven was also fantastic. The food was excellent and the staff were great. We were staying here for our 15 year anniversary and paid over $700 for our room, we were very surprised when we walked in and had a view of the parking lot bike rack outside of our window. When asked about this accommodations they said they had nothing else available and would not be able to move our rooms. I have never paid so much for such a view. When we checked out I received our hotel charges and we had been overcharged. I emailed back within 15 minutes and did not received a response. I emailed 3 days later as a follow up, no response. I eventually called where they apologized and sent me a refund. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was definitely disappointed with our stay. I was expecting a much more luxury experience from this hotel.

Seattle in August

We loved our stay at the Edgewater Hotel. This hotel is located in a great area and is super close to the water. It's just a short walk to all the major tourist spots. If you are using the Light Rail from SeaTac, we recommend getting off the Westlake stop and then hopping on an Uber or Lyft if you are bringing luggage. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived before 12 pm, and our room was already ready, so we were able to store our bags and get to exploring downtown early. The restaurant is very beautiful, and the food was great. The sunset from the restaurant was just beautiful. The room was clean and very nice. Unfortunately, the only negative was that it had a slight mildew smell from the AC. If you have stayed here before, you know the lobby, common areas, and hallways smell AMAZING. So, it was very noticeable when you stepped into the room, and the smell would hit you. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would visit it again on a future trip to Seattle.
