Reviews for The Edgewater

Beautiful hotel with cozy rooms

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Location: Superb, walking distance to the aquarium and pike place but far enough to avoid all the extra congestion. Atmosphere: Cozy fall vibes. Very chill and relaxing. Rooms: very spacious and clean. Views were amazing! Dining: Six-Seven provided such amazing meals that we decided to do dinner there every night instead of going out. Noise level: none except for communal areas. We left the window cracked to listen to the waves and the morning seagulls. Service: TOP TIER!!! From valet to concierge to restaurant staff! Everyone was so professional and welcoming! Amazing stay, I’m definitely going to book weekend staycations here more often!

Arrive by Ferry, Love your Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This hotel is RIGHT ON THE WATER. It is lovely and relaxing. The staff are friendly and at your service. If you arrive by ferry from Victoria, this is the place to stay because the day you depart, you are right near the ferry pier. That is very handy early in the morning.

It’s bellow my expectations. Rude staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The views are nice but the people that work at front desk and room service were rude. Most of the time nobody would greet us when we arrived or left and in multiple occasion were rude to me and my friends Another thing is if you have a water view yes is beautiful but what we didn’t know is the seagulls come to the balcony and make noises we were woken up at 1 am by them in multiple occasions. They never restocked our snack basket or mini fridge. Also they don’t have room service available all day just a few hours a day. When we called to get breakfast they didn’t ask us what we wanted just “how you want your eggs” what if we didn’t want eggs ? And then pretended not to hear us and said they were gonna send a menu They never did and we had to call again Then late at night we called to ask about room service and they said is closed but in a very rude way and then I asked about the snack cart that never got refilled to what this woman answered “it’s an additional charge” and we know that but usually mini fridges and snacks have to be refilled everyday. Overall not so good experience but I liked the water view and the restaurant was very good. Would not stay here again but enjoyed the views and the restaurant. For the price we paid for the room at least we expect to be treated with respect and at least greeting their guests.

Get an overwater room!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

The overwater room was incredible. So nice to watch the ferries, hear the waves and birds. It was so quiet and peaceful I heard a seal surface in the morning and thought it was an orca at first. Barely wanted to leave the room!
