Reviews for The Edgewater

Horrible low standard hotel and over charging!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Do not trust those good reviews. Other than a water front view, there’s nothing good about this hotel. You may as well stay at Marriot just across the street for a professional hotel experience. Horrible unprofessional staff all around, horrible room situation with noises all over the nights, with useless WIFI but no matter what they still charge you $33 resort fee for nothing. You will be surprised to receive a final bill full of taxes of all sorts at checkout even if the room was already prepaid. I paid $25 just for tax for a room upgrade of $50 and one night parking $65! Don’t be fooled by its historical story. It means nothing to us and the hotel doesn’t show anything historical to see at all!!!!

Extraordinary

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Our family had an extraordinary experience at the Edgewater Hotel. Great location. The service was stellar from the front desk to the bell desk, lounge and cafe, to maintenance. Our room was stylish and cozy - loved the fireplace. Views were incredible from our room and all dining and common areas. Food - top notch. The gym was well appointed and the whole property spotless. The holiday decor was over the top too - highly recommend.

60th Birthday and Beatles Dreams

We had my husband's 60th birthday party here and we stayed in the Beatles Suite - we loved our room, and the Forest Room was a beautiful place to host such a special birthday party.

Proximal to ferries and fantastic views throughout.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed here a few days before catching the Clipper to Victoria, then when we returned before catching Amtrak home. Excellent check in service, complimentary upgrade upon our return. I don't think there's a bad view from any room. City view with the Space needle, and water to watch the ferries. This place is beautifully decorated for the holidays - with nostalgic Christmas photos of various stars throughout the lobby. Excellent stay and perfect location!

Great hotel

Great hotel and staff. Close to everything downtown! It’s right on the water, and has a delightful restaurant as well. The room came with a fireplace and was very cozy.
