Seattle’s only over-water hotel: where rock’n’roll history meets Pacific Northwest luxury. The Edgewater Hotel is laden with a rich musical past and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains, Elliott Bay and the sparkling city. Consistently named one of the best hotels in Seattle, our unique location on Pier 67 means you’re just a short walk to everything you want to do in our evergreen city. Relax in luxurious waterfront or cityside accommodations knowing you’re doing the same as the Beatles, Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters once did. We’ll even loan you complimentary rental guitars, sheet music and record players to inspire you to fully experience life at The Edge.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in a suite with a water view at The Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, and it was truly memorable. Waking up to panoramic views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains right from our suite’s windows and balcony was breathtaking — a perfect blend of urban skyline and serene water vistas that made every moment feel special. Our suite was spacious and elegantly appointed, with a cozy sitting area that invited lingering mornings and relaxed evenings. The gas fireplace added a warm, inviting ambiance, and the comfortable king-size bed ensured restful nights. Modern amenities like the Keurig coffee maker and streaming TV made the space feel both luxurious and homey. One standout feature was the huge, unobstructed views of the bay, especially stunning at sunset when the sky shifted through pink and orange hues. Being right on Pier 67, we could step outside and walk along the waterfront, conveniently close to the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, and the Great Wheel. Service was friendly and attentive, and small touches like the fireplace and local touches in the lobby added charm. While the hotel has a classic, slightly vintage feel, that only heightened the character of the stay. If you love waterfront scenery and easy access to Seattle’s top attractions, this is a wonderful choice.

We recently stayed at the Edgewater Hotel for a strategic planning retreat, and the experience exceeded expectations on every level. The setting is truly iconic—this is the hotel famously associated with The Beatles fishing from their window—and that sense of history is woven beautifully into the guest experience. From rentable guitars and record players to curated vinyl, the hotel embraces its legacy in a way that feels authentic and fun. I stayed in a bay-facing room, and the views were outstanding—peaceful, expansive, and a perfect backdrop for both reflection and focused work. The hotel’s location is exceptional: within easy walking distance to a hockey game, the waterfront, and the Space Needle, which made it ideal for blending work and downtime. We held our meetings onsite, and the accommodations were excellent. The meeting space was comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully set up. The staff was attentive and accommodating throughout, and the food was genuinely great. Dining at Six Seven (yes, the “6–7” restaurant 😉) was a highlight—both the quality and the atmosphere stood out. Overall, the Edgewater delivered a memorable, seamless experience. It’s a rare place that combines history, comfort, creativity, and functionality so well. I would absolutely return—for business or pleasure.

Check your folio from this hotel carefully: • Added $65 parking fee to folio but did not bring a car • Added an additional $33 amenities fee even though this fee was already paid In-room experience: • Room service does not pick up the phone but you can call the bellhop, who does pick up and can answer most of the questions about your room • Key scanner died inconveniently while we were trying to leave and the maintenance guy was out, leaving my friend locked out and unable to grab her things.
