I stayed here with my mom and my daughter for 4 days, the hotel was great. It is under construction but this did not interfere with our visit at all. Our room was on the 7th floor and was large, clean and quiet. Hotel staff were very polite, attentive & helpful. We never had to wait around for an elevator and the location of this place is perfect for walking & exploring. I didn’t get the chance to try the Boka restaurant, but maybe next time. No question, we would definitely stay here again, next time we’re in Seattle.

The hotel was under renovation when we stayed but this was not made clear by anyone or any website before we made the booking. It meant that facilities were poor, noise was unacceptable and generally we felt ripped off.

Contracted a hotel room block with Hotel 1000, so the majority of our conference participants stayed here. Our stay coincided with their first day of construction, so the lobby and check-in process was a little more laborious. Nevertheless, the customer service from the attentive hotel staff was top notch. I experienced seamless meeting planning with the help and support of the Conference Manager, Emily Ziemba. She even provided a list of restaurants in nearby neighborhoods since their restaurant was out of commission. Additionally, the hotel helped shuttle us back and forth each day to our meeting space, which was ~3 miles away. The sleeping rooms were spacious, but dark. The tub is the highlight of the room. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure, especially after all the renovations are complete. Location is great and is walking distance from great restaurants and shopping.

We stayed in a Grand Corner Water View Junior Suite from 8/10 - 8/13. These are located on floors 8-12. I asked for a high room when booking (months ago), and again at check in, and they put us on floor 8. That being said, the view was great. The room was very recently renovated and even though it was right next to the elevators, it was a very quiet room. Surprisingly quiet. There was some city noise, but you can't really escape that. After we checked in, we didn't interact with the staff at all. There were 2 elevators and we never had to wait. We also didn't use the makeshift lobby at all. I can see why some people might be put off by not having a "normal" lobby, but it was not a big deal for us. We left the hotel every morning to explore the city and didn't come back until the evening. I think once the work is done, it will be an even better hotel. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Easy quick walk to Pike market and the ferry dock. Lots to do nearby. Lots of restaurants and bars.

Hotel was still being worked on. It should be beautiful when it is finished. Work areas not clearly marked. The room was great. Very spacious and comfortable. The valet was quick and very courteous. The reception attitude was up and down.
