Hotel 1000 Seattle

Great hotel for our trip to Seattle, walkable to Lumen Field, Pike Place and lots of food options. Rooms were nice and we had a solid view from 12th floor

We stayed via the Fine hotel and resorts program through the American Express platinum card, so many of the good and bad points will be related to the perks associated with that card. The good: 1. You get two free complimentary drinks from the bar when checking in. I had the best old fashioned I’ve ever had from the All Water bar. 2. You get complimentary access to the top floor bar/restaurant at the Smith center, which was nice because we enjoyed it and never would have considered going without it being free. 3. A $200 spa credit was provided, and if there were no appointments available during your stay you were able to use the credits for products, which was a nice addition. I opted for a 50 minute massage with Brittany and she was amazing. Quite possibly the best massage of my life. So while I may not opt to stay at this hotel again in the future, I will certainly be returning for a massage from Brittany and an old fashioned from All Water! 4. A $60 breakfast comp could be used at All Water. This sounds like plenty, but for myself and my husband to get one breakfast entree each and a coffee it was $74 plus tip. I think the breakfast comp should at minimum cover one entree and coffee each. 5. The large soaking tub was a nice surprise. 6. All the employees were genuinely nice. The bad: 1. Despite having early check in privileges with FHR our room wasn’t ready until 4:20 pm! 2. No FHR complimentary upgrade (it was a holiday weekend, so maybe that’s why). 3. The soundproofing is pretty terrible, and sleeping was difficult. But I suppose that’s to be expected in the heart of the city.

Great hotel near downtown Seattle, excellent location for Seattle business travel. Welcoming staff, fun extra ammenities, near several fun bars/restaurants.

We highly recommend this hotel. We really liked the decor—it was totally our style. We had a spacious corner room with a beautiful view of the bay. We would definitely book that room again. We really enjoyed every minute staying there for three wonderful days! Breakfast was also a highlight for us. The food was delicious and the service was great. Overall, everyone at the hotel was exceptionally friendly. When we’re back in Seattle, we’ll definitely book Hotel 1000 again!

I did a quick solo 1 night at the hotel to redeem my AMEX benefit. The spa at this location is really nice, I did a facial right before my flight out of SeaTac, it was the best decision so I arrive home feeling relaxed and dewy. Room needed a little TLC, I noticed a couple stains on the carpet and some grime in the bathroom, maybe a good scrub and steam will help. The onsite restaurant is awesome and I had breakfast included do to my AMEX benefits, great pastries and classic egg and potatoes breakfast. Location is great, walking distance to Pike Place Market and great restaurants and bars.
