Inn at the Market

Just arrived. This is a pricey accommodation so I expected great service. When I arrived there was no valet to greet the car despite a 45 min & 5 min advance call. Check in is 4pm. I arrived at 2:45pm & am still waiting at 4:15pm for my room to be ready - they say it will be ready at 4:30pm? They are understaffed & mediocre at navigating failure to meet agreed upon to the customer. A GC for a beverage doesn’t cut it for a $650 / night room.

The water views are fabulous and the room was spacious. The man who checked us in had quite an attitude and the vallet couldn't be found. I guess you have to be in the know and maybe look a bit cooler.

Loved staying here!! Was central to all that we wanted to see and do. We chose this hotel because we did not want to rent a car (no way I was navigating Seattle) and we were able to walk every where and/or take the monorail or light rail. Everyone who works at the Inn were always friendly and helpful and a pleasure to be around! Views from the rooftop were amazing!!!

We loved everything about our stay. The room was updated and beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sun set over the water on the rooftop patio. The turndown service and cozy robes & slippers made us feel pampered. Perfect location to access the Market.

Sometimes for a get-away we choose Seattle as the flight easy. We have (had) a favorite elevated water view hotel that we usually book. I think that has changed after the last few days. Late morning of our arrival date we were warmly welcomed at the Inn at the Market. Though our room was not ready so early in the day, the staff held our bags so we could wander the Public (Pike) Market and waterfront. When we received the call that our room was ready about 1pm (still quite early) there was some minor maintenance issue so rather than having us sit by the lobby fire and wait, they did an immediate complimentary room upgrade. Though completely unexpected and unnecessary it was gracious and thoughtful and an impressive view room. The neighborhood is nice (safe) the Post Alley and Public Market is right there within a block. Everything from Seattle Center, West Lake Mall and the ferry pier were an easy walk on a beautiful Seattle day. At the Inn, the staff are kind, the atmosphere warm and inviting and everything from the walkway into the front doors to the lobby to the room(s) were clean, fresh and well appointed. I think the Inn at the Market is our new go-to place for the brief Seattle break away from the rest of life.
