Inn At The Market is a great place in a great location. Sits right in front of Pike St. Market and a comfortable walk to most places you'd want to visit while there. Rooms are fantastic and mine had a nice water view. It's pricey.

Location - you don't have to deal with hotel shuttles and close enough for mass transit if you want to go out of the immediate area. You're right in downtown - close to everything. I researched so many hotels and this one was the best value overall. Details: Seattle our first time 1 day on either side of our cruise, UnCruise with only 22 passengers; wanted to jam in as much Seattle exploring as possible. Hotel details: Not only do they coordinate a car service to and from the airport, they do it for >$30 less than I could have booked travel directly with the same car service AND 1 less thing that I had to coordinate/plan/spend my time on. Part of your hotel room booking online process. Thanks to other Tripadvisors we spent the extra couple bucks for the water view room (both before and after cruise), would do it again, no only for the views, but the overall accommodation made it more enjoyable. Hotel also offers shipping, as in if you purchase things at Pike's market & vendor does not offer shipping, hotel does it as a service (as in no up-charge, they just charge you whatever UPS/Fedexp charges - THANK YOU!) as well as all the staff was attentive, helpful, and "on top of things" for us. From giving us early check-in and check-out first night to storing our luggage after early disembarkation from ship 9:30 Sat am until our room was ready just after lunch as well as making sure car service was ready & waiting to take us to airport at 5am on Sunday morning to fly out... printing our boarding passes, as well as anything else we needed. Rooms were very clean, well "stocked" with among other things complimentary robes & slippers (thanks it was cold to Floridians in early May). Made our entire Seattle stay one that we would come back. Thanks to Katie, Meegan, Jim, and all the other staff. Also, although no restaurant in the hotel, there are 4 right next door with Bacco best for breakfast that I found out would bring room service if desired. Finally don't miss the rooftop patio, great view and worth bringing a bottle of wine & snacks to enjoy the sunshine we were SO fortunate to enjoy.

One of my favorite hotel stays in a while. The room were spacious and modern. Most importantly, the bathroom was clean, roomy and had a wonderful walk-in shower. Plus, our room overlooked Pike Place Market and the water (didn't pay extra for that view, but it was lovely). Obviously, the location can't be beat. Having been to Seattle many times, we didn't plan to spend much time at Pike Place Market, but since we were staying right there, the Market became part of our daily routine. Because of the time zone change, we woke up so early every day of our vacation that we were able to enjoy the Market in a way not many tourists do -- early morning as the vendors are still setting up for the day. It's peaceful yet energetic at the same time. And, we were the first two customers at the original Starbucks every morning. Great hotel. Period.

I have only positive comments. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. For that matter, all the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly. The access and use of the 5th floor deck was wonderful. The location was optimal. Close to the waterfront, within walking distance (~1 mile) of the Space Needle and literally right next door to the Public Market. Yet, oddly enough, the hotel itself was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable and large with a great view. Highly recommended as far as I'm concerned!
