What a wonderful place this is! The location can’t be beat as it is in the Market and downtown as well. A tourist trap it is not though as this is just a well thought out and designed urban boutique hotel. The service is friendly, helpful, and professional. Our particular room had wonderful views of the Sound, Pike’s Market and downtown all at the same time. The room was tastefully furnished, comfortable and just had that perfect atmosphere. The outdoor terrace provides great views of the Sound and Market and is a great place to relax. Although they don’t have their own dining, there are many eating establishments in this area, some literally as close as next door. This is one hotel that we will definitely return to.

I love this hotel for Seattle escapes. You're right above the Market and often are able to get rooms looking out at the Puget Sound. I love watching the ferrys coming and going, and looking down as the Market shuts down for the night and then seeing the hustle and bustle as they reopen the next morning. It's easy to get everywhere on foot from here, they offer valet parking, and there are plenty of shopping and food options nearby.

This was our third stay at the Inn at the Market and it was as fabulous as the first two! Of course it helps if you like Pike Place Market and we do, as well as all the wonderful shops and restaurants around the area. First class staff and service but not snotty like some five star hotels, we have never experienced noise levels that some travelers have noted and no problem with the pillows either. Little on the pricey side.

Everything was excellent. We had the greatest view of Elliott Bay! The hotel staff were superior. Local attractions and restaurants were top notch. This is truly the entrance to the market. I highly recommend a stay here. If you plan to spend any time in your room, a view room is terrific!

This is a hotel we always wanted to try and we finally got to stay here as we didn’t have our dogs with us. We are just waking up from our first night here with terrible neck and shoulder pain. I just do not understand why they get such good reviews. We are used to staying at other five star hotels like Four Seasons and that is the kind of experience we expected here. I can overlook the fact that their “partial water view” is not worth the money as there is a roof top garden right outside our room and we can’t leave the curtains open (they claimed that people can’t look in if the sheer curtains are drawn but this was not true at all), that there is no fitness facility and they are not pet friendly. Also, what kind of hotel at this level doesn’t have full black out curtains (not that we could have slept in anyway due to our neck pain from sleeping on their pillow)? One thing that I find unacceptable is their pillow. All four pillows in the room were so flat and even when they were stacked together, they sank and offered no support whatsoever. I kept waking up all night with such pain on my neck. Most hotels have different levels of firmness in the pillows but these were all the same, flat and lifeless. I always look forward to sleeping at nice hotels because I tend to sleep better so this was very disappointing.
