So, we got here early on Friday and had to wait for our room. Not surprising, but the fact after the noon check out time, we still had to wait 1.5 hours for housekeeping to get the room ready was a bit annoying. Fortunately, the concierge desk ladies were fantastic. They were willing to talk to us, answer our questions, giving us ideas of places to eat, get coffee (to take home), etc. They were right - the Biscuit B*tch is the best place for breakfast. Etta's was fabulous for dinner. The room itself. Has a nice view out of one window of the bay, but another window looks on the brick wall of the building next door. The other view (we have a corner room) over looks a busy street. Every night there was someone on the corner singing. While he has a nice voice, I don't need to hear this for an hour. Traffic noises were also prevalent and street lights peeked through the curtains nightly. The thermostat wasn't very intuitive and really hard to make it warm in the room. The blower cuts right across the entire room and it's chilly. No bathtub in the bathroom, but the shower is awesome. A little disappointed there is no workout place - we were told we could purchase a day pass for $15 for a gym nearby. That's a bit expensive...

We stayed two nights midweek and found it to be very relaxing and accommodating. The front desk was very helpful with around town travel assistance. The room (3rd floor partial lake view) was stunning. The view was almost intimate of the market, and the deck was very comfortable. Location is perfect for relaxing shopping, dining and browsing without needing to drive.

Great location right in the heart of Pike Place Market. Before booking this hotel, I was checking out the Four Seasons which is just a couple of blocks down from the market. For half the price, you're better off staying at the Inn at the Market. You're right next to a dozen of restaurants and shops, including the original Starbucks. The Inn boasts water and city views as well as a fabulous roof garden that is open 24hours. Many mornings, we grabbed breakfast to go and went on the deck to check out the scene. Towards the evening, several people would be enjoying a bottle of wine and watch the sunset. The roof garden is a major selling point for me aside from its location. Rooms are decently sized, including a fairly large bathroom. We had the city view on the 8th floor (top). Depending on the time of day, it can be a little noisy. This isn't a place where you're spending the entire day in the room. If the noise is a concern, ask for the water view. Since the roof garden is all access, it may not be worth the additional cost. Location is great. Several tours take off from the Target two blocks down so that is convenient. It is very centrally located to many restaurants and you can also walk to the Space Needle if you're in the mood. Room service is from Bacco Cafe which is delicious. You won't get the full restaurant menu but enough to make you want to go to the cafe! The staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle. Great value.

Sometimes when you go back to a favorite hotel after many years you can be let down - the property is not managed as well, things have gotten run down. The Inn at the Market is the opposite - the staff is welcoming, the room was large and comfortable and the decor was modern and tranquil at the same time. We had a room on the fifth floor that looked out over the rooftop garden with a view to the sound. The entrance to the rooftop garden was just around the corner from our room and you can't beat the views of the sound, Mount Ranier, the market and the Olympics. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and well supplied. I hate hotel bathrooms that give you no space for your toiletries, and this bathroom had ample counter space plus a little shelf above the sink, so there was plenty of room for my husband and I to set out our things. The hotel is convenient to the market and also to shops in downtown. My only regret is that we had just one night in town - we will be back!

What a great find! We loved sitting by the window and watching the ferry boats on Elliott Bay. Lovely and quiet room with an amazing rectangle hand held shower thingee that I need to get for my bathroom at home. Staff was great! Also delicious coffee downstairs, I need to get one of those machines too! Cool experience to be steps away from the Pike Place Market and enjoy all they have to offer. Bacca was delicious for breakfast, and many other good restaurants nearby. I can’t praise this place enough - my new favorite hotel! Thank you!
