Loving this hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I've stayed at 1 Hotel Seattle multiple times now and it is definitely my preferred hotel when possible! The property has a great vibe, the rooms are well-kept, the beds are SO comfortable, and I love that there is a tub in every room. The location is perfect too - right above a Whole Foods for any quick needs, plus pretty central to where I need to be when in town. This was my first time getting in room dining on this stay, and it was delicious! The only thing I would add is that I wish the mini-fridges weren't quite so filled. It would be great to have an open shelf for my own items without having to move things around or request it be emptied.

Back to Nature Chic

1HOTEL is a breath of fresh air with our room a nice reprieve from the city bustle. It has a completely different vibe than more established, classic hotels with a chic back to nature feel. Our room was bright yet calming. This is the first hotel where there is a filtered water spigot at the bathroom sink which was a nice touch.

Not Recommended — 5-Star Price, 3-Star Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Booked 1 Hotel Seattle because it's marketed as luxury 5-star (Four Seasons was sold out). The in-room marketing promises a "tranquil retreat." Reality: paper-thin walls and cheap glass that blocks zero noise. Night one, top floor (11th), and I still heard sirens every 30 minutes, blaring motorcycles, someone screaming and rolling around on the sidewalk in distress, and — the icing on the cake — my neighbors having very audible sex. Earplugs, pillows, white noise app — nothing worked. Called the front desk at 2 a.m. asking for bedding to sleep on my bathroom floor instead. Both managers I dealt with showed genuine concern and did everything in their power to accommodate me — moving me to a quieter room the second night and comping me. But the A/C didn't work in the second room. Maintenance couldn't fix it so they brought me a dirty box fan to use. I'd already gone days without real sleep and had been dealing with storm damage back home on Maui, so this was the last thing I needed. They brought chamomile tea as a gesture, which was sweet, but tea doesn't fix broken infrastructure. I've stayed at two other 1 Hotels (SF and Kauai) — both far superior experiences. This one doesn't come close. The staff genuinely cared and tried their best, but no amount of good service can work around bad soundproofing and a broken A/C unit in summer. Felt like a 3-star stay at 5-star prices. Can't recommend.

A sustainable, stunning Seattle stay!

This hotel was very gorgeous with kind staff and located right near many amazing restaurants, coffee shops and transit options. I was able to get to T-Mobile Park with ease and the rooms were spacious and gorgeous.

Very nice hotel mu room was special is and feels very comfortable. I like the yoga mattress and foam roller in the room. Services very good. Gym was good and had 2 peloton bikes which is great. The whole design and feel was super nice and made a real difference. Will stay here again next time.
