There were so any things that were wrong with this property....let's start at the beginning. I had booked a spa and room package with a deluxe king room which in none of their many advertisements do they show you, The reason.....they are old and not updated and you would not book one if they did. instead all of the advertising focuses on the updated rooms including the room sample materials behind the front desk. These "deluxe kings" are horrible with old and noisy unit heaters, antiquated bathrooms and abut the road with much road noise. Absolutely horrible. When I asked to have my room changed they would only do it for an additional fee. Secondly.....they charge you a $22 a day resort fee. I have been to resorts where that covers beaches and bikes and things like that. This is no resort. There is nothing additional offered to be included. Just add the $22 to your daily room charge. Now in fairness, the staff was nice but do not make up for the many shortcomings.

My group and I stayed here for a team build for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff was great especially the folks at the desk, very courteous. We utilized the conference for some business and then did some outdoor activities. The hotel was well maintained and rooms were updated. I will be planning a trip down to Sedona again with my family and plan to stay here!

My daughter and I stayed here for a week on a sedona getaway and we were very happy with every aspect of the hotel. From the pleasant check in and check out, the restaurant attached and the bar of chocolate nightly, everything was lovely. We stayed in a one bedroom Almaria suite with a beautiful view of distant mountains. It was spacious and comfy. Easy to park and easy to get in and out of town. Plus a Safeway next door if you wanted some snacks in your fridge. Would definitely stay again.

During a weekend stay for a girls’ trip, we got to experience the resort hospitality, the restaurant and the spa - all of which were amazing! The room was spacious and clean, the restaurant was cozy and welcoming with a very attentive staff, and the spa provided us a great day of relaxation. Also, the staff at check-in - Damian! - were very helpful any time we had a question. The rooftop area was perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sun go down - and admiring those gorgeous red rocks! We left feeling happy, relaxed, and wishing we could stay longer. I even left a necklace in the pocket of my spa robe and had to fly home before the spa opened the following day, but the staff was very helpful and got it back to me quickly and safely. Thank you so much!

Admittedly this hotel lacks a bit of curb appeal, it is right off the main road and doesn't give that spa impression. But once inside, things get better. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, nicely appointed, had a fireplace and a nice big bathroom. The view wasn't great, mostly obstructed view of the red rocks. I stayed for a long weekend with a friend and appreciated the generosity in extra toiletries when requested. The hotel restaurant was a nice surprise, serving up really tasty meals and the best cappuccino I've had maybe ever. I was disappointed in the spa services. The good is that they do create a serene spa atmosphere. The bad is that the facial was disappointing - I asked for extractions and got nothing but a face rub - nice, but not what I would expect for the high price. Similar with the massage, more zen rubbing than an actual massage, again especially for the high price tag. My friend had a good experience so maybe I just didn't get the right people. All in all, I thought this was a nice stay.
