The room at Sedona Rouge was large and very clean. My family of 4 enjoyed a nice, 6 night/7day stay at the Resort. We did not go to Reds and the menu didn't look very kid friendly, but it was nice to know it was there. The front desk staff and conceirge were AWESOME. Everyone was very welcoming upon check-in and when we popped in with questions. HOWEVER, upon checkout our room bill was significantly higher than what I was told it would be. Upon check-in, there was a hold placed on my credit card and I was told that was the full amount for the stay, including ALL of the ridiculous resort fees and taxes. I agreed to the amount and went on with vacation. When we checked out the bill was much higher than what I was told. I questioned the bill with the manager on duty and he confirmed he saw the hold amount and didn't know why the bill was different. I refused to pay the amount and had to catch a flight, so the manager said he would have his manager call me when he got in. The 2nd manager called me and also confirmed he saw the hold amount and didn't know what the difference was, but that he would look and talk to his manager and call me back. During these conversations, it made me very uncomfortable because it seemed as if they were trying to blame the guy who checked me in and did the hold on my card. Basically saying he messed up and they would deal with him later. I finally received a call back from the 2nd manager who informed me that when they did the hold they forgot to put all the ridiculous fees and taxes on there and that was the difference. I informed him that had I known what the fee would be in advance I would have surely stayed somewhere else. They took 10% off my stay, which amounted to around $180. The amount I agreed to pay was a good $500 under what the final bill was. In most of my conversations with the managers they kept trying to blame someone. "The front desk guy messed up and we're going to call him and see what happened." "You received an email from us upon checkin and opened it, so you basically agreed with anything we wrote in that email". Absurd. A good business would be going out of their way to make the customer happy. I was planning to give this hotel a 5 star review for the room and staff, but that was ruined with all of the drama at checkout. They think they did me a favor by giving me 10% off. That's a joke!

Very nice room. The hotel was clean. Check in was a breeze. Walking distance to a great place for Breakfast. The views were beautiful. We had a jacuzzi in our room it was so relaxing. The grounds are very well kept. Definitely would stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The concierge made reservations for us at several nice restaurants with sunset views. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Everything about the hotel seemed new. The fire pits made every evening at the hotel very relaxing. We also enjoyed the heated cocktail pool/jacuzzi. We highly recommend it.

Great hotel. Free breakfast for kids!!! There is a spa there and you get a discount if you stay at the hotel! 😊free appetizers was a nice perk. It's centrally located, clean, pretty cheap, and nice. That's all I have to say.

We stayed in a beautiful room right above the Spa and enjoyed a couples massage with Nancy and Barbara. Mario at the front desk was great - very accommodating! The observation deck was a great place to enjoy the stars. We really liked the food at Reds too.
