The Wilde Resort and Spa

I brought this issue to the attention of the spa staff, the front desk, and followed up with a phone call. I was told a manager would contact me, but I haven’t heard back, which is why I am sharing this experience. On two separate occasions, the masseuse rested his private areas on the palm of my hand. The first time, I assumed it was accidental, but the second occurrence felt intentional. I quickly moved my hand, left the premises, and because of this experience, I did not use any of the spa facilities for the rest of our stay—a large reason we had chosen to book here in the first place. This absolutely should not happen in a professional setting!!! Even before that occurred, the massage was uncomfortable and disappointing. I made my preferences very clear on three separate occasions—on the intake form, in person beforehand, and again during the massage itself—but they were ignored. When I spoke up requesting adjustments, the masseuse offered explanations and excuses rather than making the changes I asked for. I have never experienced this in any massage before, and it left me feeling that my comfort and clearly stated requests were not taken seriously. I walked in feeling slightly sore and expecting relief, but left feeling worse than when I arrived, experiencing a full migraine that lasted for the next two days. This significantly impacted what was supposed to be a relaxing and special occasion. It is concerning that neither the spa nor the hotel has made any effort to address or acknowledge this situation. We were assured by staff that a manager would reach out, and we also informed the front desk and followed up by phone to make sure our concerns were communicated. Despite these multiple attempts, we have received no response, which has only deepened our disappointment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future clients do not have a similar experience and the spa takes the necessary steps to ensure the professionalism and quality of its services. Would not recommend.

So glad we booked The Wilde. The entire experience and all the staff we interacted with was top-notch from start to finish! I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone looking explore Sedona to the Grand Canyon.

Great location and vibe at the resort. For being on a major road, it was peaceful and quiet at the resort. The restaurant on site was a nice surprise at how good it was. I also liked the activities calendar for things to do at the resort!

Such an awesome location with great friendly staff, rooms were clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location. The spa was great too.

The location is perfect. Across the street is Safeway, Sedonut, and the famous teal “M” sign McDonald’s. The hotel is open and a lot of outdoor fireplaces + hot tubs + free filtered water fountain. The hotel was quiet and perfect. Highly recommend.
