The Sedona landscape invites endless discovery. And The Wilde has its own special way of opening your eyes. Feel it as you relax poolside or by our fire pits in the Grove gardens, where the night sky opens before you. Absorb the feeling as you admire the majesty of Thunder Mountain from the Rangeview Rooftop patio, or experience it at The Wilde Haven Spa, as you unwind after an exhilarating day on the trails. Our spirit comes through in the special details throughout the property, but above all, in our local perspective. Every day, we continue to explore and find new ways to marvel at our surroundings. We’re here to swap stories, share our favorite places or just connect with you as we pour you a glass of wine at Rascal; our new feature restaurant by Chef Mercer Mohr. We’ll see you out here in The Wilde.

Prices are absurd for an average resort - $30 for a small magarita by the pool, room rates over the top, and $400+ for a so-so massage at the spa. Felt very ripped off for the experience we had there.

For context: this was our anniversary trip. I pre-paid everything in advance specifically so we wouldn't have to think about logistics. We were respectful guests, kept the room clean, barely used the amenities, and were courteous to the staff throughout. I've traveled a lot and rarely leave reviews like this — but what happened here was not normal. What worked: cute, comfortable room, nice resort aesthetic, and plenty of water refill stations — a smart touch for a hiking destination. What didn't: The bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived, and we found leftover trash from previous guests in the room. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. We didn't bother swapping rooms because we were short on time and wanted to begin with our plans, so we washed our hands at the tub faucet. The biggest 2 issues were at checkout. Firstly, had a 4 p.m. checkout confirmed a month in advance. The morning we were due to leave, we got a text — not a request, a demand — telling us to be out four hours earlier. We were already partway up a mountain on a hike and had to cut it short and rush back. That single change snowballed: we lost our lunch reservation, had to drag our bags around the rest of the day, couldn't enjoy the things we had planned, and ended up leaving for the airport hours earlier than we needed to. An entire day of our anniversary trip was wrecked because the resort decided to override a checkout time they had already confirmed. Then at checkout, we were hit with over $200 in surprise charges — resort fees I had already pre-paid in full when I booked. At check-in, we were told only items charged to the room (like meals at the restaurant) would show up on the final bill. The restaurant charge was correct. Everything else was for things that never happened. When I asked about it, the front desk told me I should've read my credit card's terms and conditions — as if my bank, not the resort, was the one charging me. That's not an explanation, that's someone reading from a script and hoping the guest doesn't push back. What does my credit card have to do with charges the resort itself is putting on the bill? The cherry on top: the guests above us were up moving around until 3 a.m. every night. Security said they'd issue a warning, but the noise continued, so I'm not convinced anyone actually went up. The resort looks the part. The operations behind it do not. I came in having already paid for everything, did nothing wrong, and still left feeling like the property was looking for ways to take more money and push me out the door.

First time staying at the Wilde Resort, but won’t be our last! Fantastic large room and bathroom, spotlessly clean. The grounds are very pretty. The restaurant Rascals was outstanding for dinner and breakfast. All staff, esp front desk, were friendly and helpful. We loved the location which had easy access to all hiking areas without the congestion of the main part of Sedona. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, clean resort with a modern relaxing vibe. We enjoyed our time there and wish we had gone there sooner. The massage was amazing and breakfast in Rascal was amazing.
