Hotel is beautiful, quiet, and centrally located within walking distance to historic sites and good restaurants. Had one reasonably large room for 4, very nice bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. AC worked well. The room service, buffet breakfast, and restaurant were also good. There's no US comfort food, other than Italian dishes, but you can walk to the Hard Rock! Only down side is lack of pool; other Melia has one but was closed in August for reno.

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Room was spacious, clean and supplied with Clarins products (which pleased my daughter !) location was excellent, walking distance to bus station Plaza de Almas and all major sights.

I don't really fell that this was a 5 star property. The lobby is lovely, as advertised. I had not checked and assumed that a 5 star property would have a pool. It doesn't. Was pretty unhappy about that when it was 40C outside. (apparently one in the planning?) Well located for walking to tourist attractions. Staff was friendly but not overly friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of choices, but they had cava available, hidden n a corner, almost like they didn't want you to find it. Property was on a quite street but a bit difficult to find. Our stay OK, but I would not stay here again as they are may our properties in the area that are cheaper and probably just as nice or better.

The location was great, very central and walking distance to places we wanted to visit. The staff were extra helpful is going above and beyond to make sure our trip was comfortable. I even found gluten free option at the extensive breakfast buffet. My eggs were done just how I wanted them aside from buffet. It really was a great breakfast to set you nicely till late afternoon. The showers too powerful and the bed very comfy. The funky hotel corridors had all the room doors with replicas/copies of famous paintings, all of which we later saw (originals) when we visited Barcelona. If we are back in Seville, this hotel will definitely be our choice again.
