The true gem of Sevilla

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We loved everything about this beautiful hotel! From the stellar service, to the fresh flowers everywhere, to the most lovely nightcap at the stunning bar, to the high-end toiletries always replenished, to the amazing decor, to the great workout facility, to the sound of the bells of the cathedral drawing our hearts back into the city every 30 minutes. Our only complaint is that 3 nights was just not enough time to enjoy all the city has to offer plus all the perks of the hotel (rooftop pool, bathtub with salts, RED level lounge, and so much more). Guess we will most definitely have to come back sometime! We highly recommend this stay for anyone who loves luxury, ease, and ambience. Truly one of our best foreign hotel experiences to date!

Fabulous Grand Hotel.

We have just comeback from ten lovely nights at this beautiful hotel. It’s hard to know where to start in writing a review. People will go with varying expectations and requirements of a branded five star hotel but this is a hotel where the staff work very hard to make sure that they are all met. First the location is great - good for walking around this beautiful city - most places 15 minutes walk away. Checking in was very good - we were even able to access our room early - the reception team are lovely - professional, helpful and really want your stay to be perfect. They were brilliant - a very big thank you. Our room on the sixth floor was not the largest but very comfortable, good storage and everything you need to make you feel at home - the light from the balcony doors and views make up for this! It was also so quiet and comfortable - slept very well indeed. The whole hotel is impeccable- the housekeeping team were great and if you want it - turn down service is a nice luxury! Breakfast is a very good experience - plenty of choice from the extensive buffet plus a menu of cooked dishes, additional juices and cocktails to choose from! Service at breakfast was also extremely good, especially María who mainly looked after us so well. If you go down around 9:30 on a Sunday it will be busy (a couple of people were complaining) but the staff managed it all very well. The bonus is breakfast is 7am to 12noon so a big window to aim at! We had drinks in the lounge a couple of times and agin very good. The door staff and concierge were helpful and professional - booking us a cab to get back to the airport and helping us with our bags. The team here are fantastic - all professional, competent and with a purpose to put the guest first. We were sad to leave this grand hotel and hope to visit again. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Wonderful stay in central Seville

We had a truly wonderful stay here in room 605. All the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and Oscar and Pablo were particularly helpful to us throughout our stay. Our room was compact but comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the rooftops. Loved the heated rooftop pool as well. Breakfast was amazing and the cocktails were great. Nothing to criticise (other than perhaps the slightly overpowering air freshener!) A wonderful stay.

Lovely hotel.

This was a simply lovely hotel. The first thing you notice is the lovely smell when you come in! The reception staff were very friendly and we were greeted with a chilled glass of cava - perfect start. We loved our room with the painted ceiling and door - it was comfortable and clean with a good shower and nice linens/towels. Breakfast was excellent and anything hot cooked to order. It was a shame the tapas restaurant was closed however the helpful concierge recommended several excellent restaurants. The spa seemed a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the hotel. Despite the very variable weather we had a lovely stay in Seville and would highly recommend the hotel. Many thanks.

Perfection in Seville

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We stayed here on the final day of our trip to Spain (alas, for only one night), and the word that comes to mind when describing every detail is perfect. (Note: we booked through a special offer using points; the hotel is on the expensive side and may not suit all budgets.) Our room was spacious and tastefully appointed, and the bed was possibly the comfiest—and largest—I have ever slept on. Truly incredible. The bathroom was equally grand: no tub, but a beautiful rain shower that more than made up for it. There is a wonderful restaurant on the ground floor, El Burladero, which was excellent and serves as the breakfast room. The hotel also features a lovely rooftop outdoor pool, impressively well heated and usable even in colder temperatures. Finally, the location is ideal—very central, yet far enough from the epicenter of the Cathedral area (which was extremely crowded) to feel calm and neighborhood-like. A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable way to end our trip.
