Best of the Best

A return visit after 10 years, often dreamt about and much anticipated.... From the moment we entered the ground floor foyer of this glorious 1920's art nouveau hotel and were escorted to the gold floor check-in on level 9 until our departure 3 days later we experienced nothing but exceptional service. The staff were not only well trained, but intuitive and delightful. The bedrooms are immaculate and well equipped and we can't recommend the gold floor experience enough. Obviously this is not a cheap option but I would encourage anyone looking for a special treat to spend that little bit more and you won't be disappointed as its the most wonderful haven to rest, and enjoy the delicious complimentary food and alcohol. Tip...have the scones and clotted cream...sublime! The hotel is extremely busy with tourists on the ground floor and don't be put off by that as there are 24 hour doormen helping to manage the traffic and seamlessly guide in-house guests to their respective floors. Whilst there are many other 5 star hotels on the Bund this is the most iconic and combined with the faultless service truly outstanding.

Fairmont Peace Hotel Tour Guide

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed in this hotel and I attended the designated tour guided by the wonderful “Alan”. He offered very detailed insight and history of the Fairmont Hotel in such an easy and engaging manner. He obviously knows so much about this hotel and its rich history and even took time to introduce us to the individual facilities of the hotel. ☺️ Well done and an excellent experience that I would recommend! 👍 Once again thank you Alan 🙏

Staying at Peace Hotel

The service here is fantastic. We had a wonderful time here at Peace Hotel. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were serviced by Anna, Lucy, Bella and Kitty. Their service was spontaneous and the room was cleaned thoroughly.

One of a kind experience

Peace Hotel was one of a kind hotel. I could feel the heritage in the place. I stayed in the French Nation suite and everything was just outstanding. All the staff were friendly and well English speaking. Maggie, Billy and Lily were really helpful.

Nice experience but could put in bigger double beds in rooms.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The hotel is lovely and very convenient. The room service was wonderful, and the food was great~ We also spent some time in the spa, which was a lovely experience. I would stay there again. I highly recommend they have some double queen (standard 1.5m) bedrooms as our kids were young, so we could not stay in separate rooms with them and the one we booked said it was a queen, but the beds were small like it was North American double and was small for two people to sleep in. Plenty of room would be great if the double beds were changed to queens. I guess these double beds and twins are normal in China, but making it hard for North Americans to adjust, and it's just so small...for a family of four to stay in any of the rooms, as the king bedroom would only have one bed...and we had no other choices.
