I had the opportunity to stay here after an excellent experience in Beijing. Located close to the metro the hotel maintains excellent service and food. Minor differences to Beijing included the fact that they do not have the fruit out on every floor and they used much more perfumed products for their bath products which were too much for my allergies. At is customary in China at certain times it is difficult to get taxis, so plan ahead.

Very good hotel with friendly staff but you would expect that, wouldn‘t you? What’s really outstanding is the breakfast. That alone would be worth another visit. I spent here one week and I still couldn‘t try all the different styles and flavours.

A luxury experience from beginning to end...nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service, especially from the front of house and restaurant teams. Rooms were equipped with everything and the cleanliness was complete attention to detail...would return immediately if returning to Shanghai. Thank you

The hotel is very well located, good service and continental breakfast with eastern standard. A negative point is that there is no good closure of doors at entrance and in the hotel and in the breakfast room it was Always very cold (I was there in January).

Certainly a very good quality hotel though under the Four Seasons brand the design and decor of public areas and the room felt slightly below 5 star experienced elsewhere. I was also disappointed at the high prices charged in the restaurants for F&B - I ended up eating out most nights. That said, the room rate (our corporate rate) was good and the location was good for the business district, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, plus a metro station just up the road, and just a few minutes ride from The Bund. Service from the staff was excellent.
