We stayed for business and pleasure, what an unexpected treat of a hotel. The food was incredible, service was excellent and the massage in the spa was probably the best massage I have ever had! We will be staying in this wonderful hotel again !!

Enjoyed our stay. We are huge MO fans. Lovely property. Highly recommended. Rooms are really spacious and lovely, breakfast was great. Always a pleasure to stay at MO.

We were upgraded to a river view room by Carson Cheng .. thanks to being Marriott Bonvoy Members and my husband’s BDay during the stay period. Also appreciated our late check out .. in view of our late evening departure flight. Carson also impressed by leading us out to the lift foyer .. reminiscent of our Cosmopolitan Hotel Welcome in Las Vegas. Unfortunately we were not given access to the Club Lounge - which others on this post are raving about. Loved our spacious and well appointed room layout with the fantastic view of the Huangpu River and The Bund. Also impressed with the location of the hotel right smack in the beautiful Huangpu Riverside promenade area. The MO limo served us well .. for our transport to other destinations in Pudong. The bkfast buffet in Zest was good … especially the live congee station. The dinner in Yong Yi Ting was impressive and delicious. Our room was well maintained everyday. All hotel staff were warm and attentive. Kudos to Marco Song … he was outstanding, highly knowledgeable and super efficient - he made our stay in Mandarin Oriental Pudong Shanghai so much more memorable. Marco was a wealth of information and spoke excellent English. Thanks to his recommendations, I enjoyed meals in restaurants like Jean Georges, Steak House in Park Hyatt, Lounge in J Hotel, Good Fellas & The Fellas Terrace. Overall we had an excellent and memorable stay in MO Pudong.

Not the best Mandarin Hotel. Starting to feel the age but still you get good quality and it is possible to get a room for a decent price because of this. Breakfast was good, rooms are nice, but the front desk service was not impressive. You will not be dissapointed, but there are more updated hotels in the Pudong Area.

Best part of the hotel is the bar.Barman Luke is very talented and make cocktail catered to your own taste. Highly recommended.
