It is an excellent stay at peninsula hotel, Jason from reception gave us a very quiet room 830. Great bedroom with comfortable bed and sheets. The dressing room is very big, and bathroom is perfect. The breakfast is wonderful, all hot foods are serviced by order with both Western and Asian tastes. There is a big and beautiful Christmas tree in the restaurant, it is amazing. The peninsula hotel is your best choice in Shanghai.

Huge fan of the decor in the rooms, very tastefully colored and arranged. Service in the lobby restaurant for breakfast was impeccable and accommodating. Location couldn't be better given the view of the bund from upstairs bund. Do not stay in Pudong side.

It's very hard to find anything to fault in this hotel. The rooms are impeccable, the bed comfortable, the dressing room perfect and the bathroom has everything a girl could need - great lighting, loads of space for makeup, fluffy towels, two types of dressing gown...I could go on! Breakfast is served in the lobby effectively but it is fabulously cooked and caters to both Western and Asian tastes. The decor is tasteful and the bar in the roof deck affords one of the best views in Shanghai. A perfect 5.

The Peninsula Shanghai was fabulous! We had a room with an absolutely gorgeous view of the harbor and Shanghai skyline and it had a wonderful bathroom with 2 sinks and nice dressing area. I also highly recommend doing their Michelin Culinary Journey where you eat at both Sir Elly's and Yi Long Court as part of a multi course wine paired meal. We did this with another couple and all found it to be wonderful food and well paired wines. They also have a nice al a carte breakfast paired with a buffet of continental breakfast items.
