A beautiful hotel with disappointing attention to detail.
The property and its setting are beautiful, the spa is very good, and the food at the restaurant where we dined was excellent. Several members of staff were also warm and helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the price or the hotel’s five-star positioning. My room overlooked a service and parking area with visible cars, litter and poorly maintained landscaping. I was served a chipped cup, waited around 30 minutes for eggs at breakfast, and had to repeat some requests several times. I raised these concerns during my stay, but the response left me feeling that they had not been adequately addressed. At this price level, basic cleanliness, properly maintained tableware and attentive service should be a given. There is much to admire here, but the service and attention to detail need to match the surroundings.

We really enjoyed the Therasia Resort! Our room was beautiful and the cleaning staff was impeccable. Marta and Evanna made our check-in and activities extra special and warm, we dined at both Michelin Star restaurants, and they were amazing. We plan to return next year!

Absolutely stunning
We absolutely loved this resort. It is absolutely stunning and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast was incredible. Our room was great with a large outdoor seating area (in the lowest category of room). The shuttle service was great if you want to go further afield for dinner. What a fantastic treat.

Unforgettable and awesome
The website does not do this beautiful resort justice! The view from the pool deck to Lipari is breathtaking. The service immaculate. Easy shuttle service to town. Our premier room with garden view was huge and super clean. The breakfast is simply five star quality. Visit Da Pina for dinner (worth the cab fare). We will be back and were so impressed by the gentilezza of the staff. And no sulphur smell either.

We did not stayed in the hotel but spend whole afternoon having lunch and ice cream. Very nice resort type environment and very professional staff. They have two Michelin star restaurants but they were closed for lunch. Nice place to stay and relax … and avoid all the craziness of Lipari

We just finished a 6-day stay at the Therasia Resort on Vulcano, one of the Aeolian Islands. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish we were taken care of and pampered by Nancy and the rest of the super friendly hotel staff. The location was stunning. We thought we died and went to heaven and landed in paradise. Wherever you looked there were the steep cliffs, crystal clear water and the blue sea. We had a wonderful stay and vowed to come back next year.
