We booked this for our honeymoon and stayed from 3rd June for a week. To say in a few words just how stunning the views are, wouldn't do it justice. It really is an amazing place to stay. It's peaceful, the food is great and so much choice and the customer service is exceptional. The staff are great and our thanks go to Francescina, who supplied us throughout our stay with drinks around the pool; Marco, whom was always informative about the wine and not forgetting Max in the restaurant', you are a great asset to the hotel. We truly had a wonderful honeymoon, made even more special by you all. Our room was 216, had a sea view and overlooked a courtyard, although small, it had everything you need. It also had a fridge and free soft drinks and water was provided everyday. We also had a meal in the Michelin restaurant, which was a lovely experience and included a flight of wine. I must say we thought the food in the restaurant was equally as good. The only negative comment I would say is don't have the 'beef gut' it literally is just that, one to avoid, albeit a Sicilian dish, but somewhat rustic...... As said we stayed early June and it was relatively quiet, I don't think staying in the height of the season it wouldn't have the same ambiance. Would we go back? In a heartbeat and plan to for an anniversary. Thank you so much, it was truly memorable.

I am quite torn with my score, I would give this 3.5 if I could. Some great points to the hotel, the outside areas are great, spacious, nice seating. Infinity pool is lovely and no one was ever in it. Breakfast was also wonderful with many choices including champagne! The views are obviously spectacular. However, the hotel is lacking in my opinion. The rooms are 3* at best, rusty showers and little space or working sockets. Double bed is 2 singles pushed together and there's no full length mirror!! We had a huge outdoor terrace which was great (non sea view), and having seen the sea view room would not have paid the extra €90. There is no shop nearby as previously mentioned and the hotel is pretty pricey. The shuttle is good to get to the port area, you would need a car otherwise, but there was little going on when we were there with many restaurants empty. Although I can't help thinking the stench of sulphur probably puts a few people off! Wish I had stayed longer than one night to enjoy the hotel facilities (not the room), would probably not return as it's a pain to get to just for the views.

A beautiful Italian gem on the rocks with stunning sea views. Very nice and well decorated rooms, great breakfast and dinner (we had half board) but a little bit unflexible with dining options since we were not allowed to eat at the pizza Restaurant being on half board. They are very child friendly, cooperate with good tour providers and have a well equipped little store for your beach time needs. Overall highly recommendable, we will be back.

The Therasia Resort is a wonderful resort with amazing views that never get old. Sunrise, Sunset, Midday you will constantly be looking out over the sea to view the neighboring islands and boats traveling on the clear blue waters. Simply breathtaking for a city dwellers like my girlfriend and I ! We stayed five nights in the Master Room which includes an enormous terrace and private Jacuzzi. The terrace was so incredible we only left it to have delicious meals at the Therasia various restaurants. Breakfast buffet is incredible with an assortment of foods to various to list. Lunch in the open air I Grusoni is a treat everyday. The menu has numerous options and we did not have a single complaint. The view overlooking the main pool and sea as always is a wonderful compliment with lunch. Dinner we enjoyed both Il Cappero and L Arcipelago. Il Cappero offers a culinary masterpiece tasting menu featuring local foods each presented with an artists flare. L Arcipelago menu features Sicilian traditional items that all were excellent. We only needed more nights to try everything !!

My husband and I travelled to the Therasia Resort this May for a week's holiday. We cannot be happier with our experience. The hotel is situated on the top of a small cliff so you have a wonderful view over to the other Aeolian islands and are able to view some amazing sunsets. The staff at the hotel are superb and always take the time to make your stay comfortable. In particular the staff in the restaurant have been superb and have accommodated my gluten free diet with an individual menu and plenty of gluten free choices. They have really made my stay special. The island is beautiful and wonderful to explore as we did on foot and by bicycle.
