I've stayed at a number of hotels in Singapore - this is now my favourite. Why: because for me this was the best stay for a number of reasons. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful - not just the staff that I had dealings with - but the people you meet while walking through the hotel. I would also have to say that the staff seemed to be better trained in guest relations than in some of the other hotels that I have stayed in - there was a clear focus on understanding the customer and exceeding expectations. Room was big, beautifully appointed and with a lovely view. I really liked the drapes - with a privacy screen as well as a full curtain - all with electronic control. I also loved the shower - with a window into the room (with a blind that could be lowered to give privacy) - this made the shower and bathroom area very light and sunny. (I would happily copy this if I was renovating my house). The breakfast is quite simple amazing - with foods from so many different cuisines (european and asian) - all great quality. The only regret is having one stomach! I only ate at the edge restaurant - the others also looked good. In the Marina square Mall nearby there is also a food hall - cheap and cheerful local food with a great view of the harbour. Bar area on the ground floor was nice - cool concept - I found the music a bit loud and bland when I was there for a sundowner. I think if you were drinking with others it would be ok, but I was on my own with a book and prefer it to be quieter. I wore noise cancelling headphones, so all good. The location is perfect for me - a good shopping mall just a stone throw away, access to the metro, close to the gardens of the bay (walk or metro). The pool area is pleasant and very relaxing. The fitness studio has a good range of machines (technogym) and free weights. For those with a late flight there is a hospitality area beside the pool. Every thing was clean and well maintained. Tip: for those flying singapore airlines checkout the Singapore airlines boarding pass privileges: currently a complimentary breakfast if you stay at this hotel (booked directly with the hotel).

This is a superb hotel in a very convenient location. Staff extremely friendly, efficient and most pf all courteous and respectful. Nothing I could fault with this hotel or the staff in it. Breakfast were superb, location very convenient to the Conference centre, concert hall, a couple of shopping malls, the waterfront. I would sum it up this way, when we go back to Singapore, this is where we will be staying!

I spent three nights here in December 2017. Check in 15th check out 18th, room 3412. I have enjoyed stays this hotel previously, but this was my first visit since the major refurbishment that has taken place, and I was not disappointed. I had reserved a Pacific Club room and I was very impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the receptionist, Ms. Naine, especially when I was informed that I had been upgraded to a bay view room and had two pieces of laundry FOC. She walked me to my room (3412), and then up to the lounge on floor 38. The new lounge is much larger and grander than the previous but the staff were very welcoming and continued to be so during my stay. My room was excellent, well designed, had a comfortable bed with a great view and an excellent shower. Breakfast in the Edge restaurant was one of the best I had on my travels. Again it is very grand and the variety and quality of food were first class, as were the staff. I would like to particularly mention Ms. Janice in the restaurant. I am not so young and on my first visit to the restaurant Janice noticed that I had a little trouble getting in and out of my seat. She showed me to another seat that was much easier for me to get in and out of and had a better view. Thank you Janice you were much appreciated. I hope the management takes note ! The location is excellent with walkways through to shopping malls and the waterfront. So overall I do recommend the Pan Pacific Singapore and hope to enjoy another stay as soon as I can. It is rather expensive but is excellent value for money.

Room was very well appointed. We enjoyed the breakfast. A little pricey, however, plenty of variety. I also used the gym, which had a good array of equipment. The only thing that let the experience down was the lifts. We were staying on level six. Sometimes the lifts would take a long black time to arrive. And at other times the buttons would fail to work. Staff were a bit impersonal but efficient. All in all we would recommend Pan-Pacific Singapore and would stay here again.
