Wonderful and frustrating experiences

Our 1 bedroom residence room was very nice with comfortable furnishings, washer/dryer, balcony, fireplace, large bathroom. Amazing views of the mountains and ski slope. We loved the room! The Spa services were wonderful. I had the oxygen facial and a massage. More amenities would be even better for the price of the services. Ie. Sauna, Steam room etc. We loved the dining options - room service, Toro and Nest. Very convenient and quality food. Room cleanliness was awesome. I loved that we didn't have to request that our room be serviced each day! We appreciated it so much! Some frustrating experiences: We almost drove away in the wrong car because the valets leave the keys in the cars and there was a similar SUV left out front. I think if they just required your ticket # to get the key this risk could be eliminated. It didn't sound like the 1st time this had happened. Our refrigerator stopped working and we lost all food purchased right after arrival. After two different attempts to fix (over 2 days), they replaced the refrigerator. The refrigerator is a built in so it took a long time to replace. They stated that the refrigerators were all old and going bad and they were working to replace them in the summer season, so hopefully no one else will have this experience once completed. They did offer to cover our breakfast one morning to make up for it, but it wasn't actually credited so we had to address it at checkout. I received a text after we left that there was a problem with my credit card. My credit card company said that there were no declines and no reason for it not to process. I called back to let them know it was something on their end. I was transferred to a manager who then asked "Do you have enough credit limit available?" I gave them my card number again and was put on hold for a long time. The manager then came back to let me know they were able to get it to go thru.

Spring vacation

Vale to service was not equitable. Specifically meaning - what we paid and what we got… not worth it. The breakfast buffet and A la cart experience was less than convenient, we waited 20 minutes to get water and coffee. In addition, housekeeping left our door ajar for hours…., and our bathtub did not hold water. Lastly, the quality of the room was substandard; drawers were misaligned making it difficult to open and more so to close, and paint was peeling from bathroom tiles. There are other hotel options around Snowmass - this hotel may not be your option.

Just got back from a big group trip of about 20 people. We made our way into the lobby most nights either for food and drink and every time got top notch service from Abby. If she serves you she will treat you well, wonderful personality and wonderful service.

Very underwhelmed

This was our second stay here. Came with a family of eight, had four rooms. Overall this year the place seems to have slipped a good bit. First of all, the rooms that used to have views of the slopes are now completely blocked by a huge new addition of a condo building, currently under construction. So this was the first unpleasant surprise. Also, the place was incredibly noisy with children running apparently unsupervised everywhere including up and down the hall. Services have slipped too. Housekeeping staff wasn’t well trained - everything on my counter, including makeup in open containers, was dumped into my bag by housekeeping and mostly ruined. I didn’t want the room serviced after that. At 65, it’s difficult for us to put the ski boots on and take them off. The ski valet staff, who were great about helping with the boots last year, this year acted like it wasn’t their job anymore. Another disappointment. Overall, the hotel is well located and the on-grounds restaurant is great though quite expensive. Otherwise, nothing much to recommend it.
